  1. Just took inventory and it seems I have more triggers than barrels. Looks like I need to get some more barrels to achieve equilibrium. Thanks for the description though. Anything can happen on a cold winters night
  2. How are these compared to SSA-E triggers?
  3. I hope it’s as good as the first one. Been waiting a long time for this to finally get produced.
  4. This was my boy on a hike with me in the Cascade mountain range of Washington.

    Mossberg 590M

Just saw the MSRP prices on those mags $140 for the 20 rounders!
  6. If you’re lucky it’ll be a Mal but be forewarned: they’ll keep you on your toes ?

    Mossberg 590M

I know how much 98 likes Mossberg shotguns. New for 2018: magazine fed 590 ?
  8. Cute pup, he’s got a nice head on him. I had to put mine down on Monday. Gonna wait a bit before I look into getting another.

  15. Nice. I’ve been on the fence between that one and the RCBS Chargemaster.

  17. So I decided on the Alta Pro tripod kit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003WKOENO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1506348905&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=alta+pro+tripod&dpPl=1&dpID=41myvecKN8L&ref=plSrch My plan is to head out to the range Saturday or Sunday and I'll let you know what I think. I looked pretty hard at the Vortex line but the Alta Pro got great reviews in multiple locations. I know it's a camera based tripod but it can handle more weight and has crazy angles if needed. I couldn't justify the cost associated with carbon fiber versions at this point...there are some cheaper carbon fiber options but I subscribe to the buy once cry once theory to a point of fiscal responsibility.
  18. Ya, I had no idea either until I started looking... I'm going to keep looking and see what else I can dig up in the way of reviews. This isn't going to be an impulse buy so I have time. Will let you know what I decide upon.

  20. I think the Aero sets are a great value too. That's how I started off and everything fit well and was in spec.
  21. Hey there fellas, I'm in the market for a new spotting scope tripod and I'm not really familiar with all the considerations. I've read a bit and was still wondering if any of you have some input on the ones you use. I will be using it for range work and backpack hunting in the mountains. Right now I'm looking at this one: http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=2110416&categoryId=0&parentCategoryId=0&subCategoryId=0&indexId=0&productVariantId=4190040&quantity=1&itemGUID=&destination=/user/wishlist.jsp I also like this one: http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=1981904&categoryId=0&parentCategoryId=0&subCategoryId=0&indexId=0&productVariantId=4173649&quantity=1&itemGUID=&destination=/user/wishlist.jsp I'm leaning towards the Manfrotto right now...
  22. Welcome to the forum Phil. We're glad to have ya.
  23. Welcome to the forum from Michigan. I haven't taken mine out to 1000 so far due to limited locations that have that much distance out this way.
  24. Very cool rigging Sketch
  25. Cabelas Vortex Intrepid HD Spotting Scope 20-60x80. On sale for a really good price. I have come to the opinion that if it were not for the internet I'd be rich
