That’s the truth. Californians have already done it to Washington State and Colorado.

I hate to say it but I know more than a couple police officers that are NOT gun guys. They do their annual qualification and figure they’re good. Hell I was talking with one about different buffer weights and spring tension and he looked at me like I was crazy. I said YOU’RE a certified Colt armorer and he said Colt just told us this is how you do it. I’m just glad that no one got hit with “not so friendly fire”. They all need to go through additional training though. Just my humble opinion.

^^^ This...I have a 300WSM and those rounds aren’t cheap if you buy factory loaded ammo... As stated by some of the others the real bonus of reloading comes from “tweaking” ammo to shoot more accurately since it is made specifically for that one weapon.

So now that you’ve had the tool for a while would you recommend it? I’m looking for something that is fairly universal. I need to adjust the sights on my Shield as well.

When I work with pups as young as 8 weeks I take them out into a field or wooded area. I have the pup off lead and they are usually very excited and curious at this point. I use a shotgun primer starter pistol and every so often I set it off. When the pup is startled and stops to look around after hearing the shot, I turn to them and give lots of praise accompanied by a treat. Cut up hot dogs work GREAT. Cheap and easy to carry in a ziplock baggie. It takes almost no time at all to get them to associate the shot sound with a positive experience. I can’t guarentee it will work with every dog, some dogs are just nervy, however I can say that all 3 of my dogs never had any issues with gunshots, fireworks, or thunder.
