  1. They were on sale so think of all the money you saved Nice score brother
  2. Well I certainly would love to get to know her
  3. Thanks brother I noticed till your bump last update was 2017!!! My plan is to update ( and hopefully others will also contribute) a mid week moral booster to help see use through to side boob Saturday.
  4. There are no tequila goggles that would make Bruce look like...
  5. Can your eyes become diabetic?
  6. The hippies grow some pretty potent stuff there, they are used to people Doritos is the go to for stoners up here
  7. There is an island in the Strait of Georgia called Texada,it's got a large hippy population with a good climate for outdoor pot growing. Texada Isl. deer have a taste for pot and it seems to make them smaller than average with a distinct flavor.
  8. Tuning a carb with a vacuum gauge on my 83 Chief , adjusting timing to pass annual emission test then resetting for performance, Mind you I was still driving it up till 2009.
  9. Glad it's worked out finally...so there is hope for @98Z5V seeing as he's 2/3rds of the way there
  10. Well you've been married twice so you've got way more experience being 'wrong'
  11. Well according to MSM a.22 rifle, a shotgun and 30 rds of ammo total and a Poptart nibble in the shape a pistol is an arsenal
  12. Is it possible to have too many guns?
  13. @CAVU listen to @98Z5V he's the source of the nugget along with many more. Me I'm a drunk three legged pig stumbling around occasionally lucky enough to stumble upon and recognize these nuggets.
  14. I guess the issue wasn't my accent but your accent . Always appreciate the advice brother
  15. Up here we have Mapleseed, an offshoot of Appleseed after some Canadians went south had a blast and said Canada needs this and took the Appleseed instructor course. I've gone the last two years and will go again this spring. On a recent trip to Arizona one of the many nuggets I picked up was shooting .22 out to 200yds to simulate shooting centre fire at longer ranges.
  16. Must be my accent the weakness in this u-joint wasn't the grease nipple but the lack of one. For some reason LR installed all the others with grease nipples but this one is sealed tucked up behind the engine and above the exhaust Y. Goes on the hoist Monday, going to beef up all the u-joints, rebuild/beef up/balance drive shaft
  17. Hey I too am wet but in the other Vancouver( Actually North Vancouver)
  18. Thanks brother, The guy with the lift only does Rovers. I'll definitely get the heavy duty u-joint. Turns out the one that failed is sealed and no grease nipple hence the weak point. Others aren't bad( greasable) but will have them upgraded while it's on the hoist.
  19. Buying Rovers is a bit like buying wine the year matters and they have their quirks. Turns out a quirk on this one is the u-joint and anything more then a pavement princess you should upgrade. Pic from up in the high country elk hunting
  20. Nope... it's a Land Rover Even easier is trading some electrical work on my part to a dude with a hoist.
  21. The fantasy... The reality...
  22. We need an icon for a pants off brotherly hug... If Tom had been bad luck true but it didn't so maybe he's like a good luck Buddha you have to be brave enough to rub
  23. Well things are looking up. Crawled underneath today(better weather today see OP for weather yesterday) looks like the front axle u-joint failed at the transfer case end, there are some marks on the oil pan and y-pipe but no other signs of damage to undercarriage. I've seen/heard horror stories of u-joint failure tearing things up. So if anything maybe if Tom stood closer none of this would have happened... See even saying it's not your fault I've made it your fault
