Sold the upper and going to rebuild as an 18” 6.8 SPC. Before anyone says “why not 6.5 Grendel”, I’m going to build a Noveske lower into a 6.5 Grendel. That’s why.

Gave this dude a home recently and it’s built like a tank. This one doesn’t rattle or sound cheap. That’s attributable to the milled receiver and the fact the Bulgarians make, in my opinion, the best of the old Eastern Bloc copies. The thumb hole stock is long gone and the furniture was sourced from Ironwood Designs. My plans are to have the factory brake cut off and the barrel threaded 5/8 x 24. I’d also like to source a Texas Weapon Systems railed top cover and I’m uncertain from there.

You guys know how it is!! I’m constantly horse trading AR15’s to the point that I just started taking them apart, keeping the parts that I like, replacing those parts with stuff I didn’t like and reselling/trading for something else. 🤪

I found a Noveske charging handle in my parts stash and I decided that it needed a home. So, I proceeded to dig around and found a few other goodies then decided it would become a 10.5” SBR. I don’t have a range report for this one just yet. The scope may not be a permanent fixture on this one either. This started out as a stripped lower that I bought from a friend and progressed into a full build using as many correct parts as I could find. I’m still on the look out for the accurate Ni-B UCT EXO bolt carrier group. The trigger isn’t the correct Geissele but is a decent quality, KE Arms DMR trigger that will find its way to my M5E1. The grip is UCWRG and, well, I’m a sci-fi nerd to that’s why it’s there. The AAC 51T will be changed out for a DeadAir Xeno Brake to facility use with my suppressors. She’s currently dressed with an Aimpoint PRO with Troy back up sights. Also not pictured is the Magpul MS4 QD sling. I’ll start another thread for the little 10.5” 5.56 slut on the left.

I have nothing but good things to say about my BCM MK12 Mod 0 upper that’s parked on a well sorted lower.

First is the Holley EFI fuel table for my white car and is in fact calculated VE. It is a very nice, well thought out system. The latter is SCT LiveLink in my (wife’s) red car.

Question for the masses: What is the proper gas port diameter? I’m going to have it checked when it’s disassembled and, if necessary, opened up to the proper spec.

She’s naked! I don’t have an AR10 vice block so I’ll ask my local gunsmith remove the flash hider, barrel nut and the staked buffer tube nut. Speaking of the cerakote job, this is the “vibe” I’ve requested for both the pistol and rifle to look like: Magpul FDE & black hardware Excited…
