It's probably in here but using my phone it's cumbersome for this issue. Dry fit the gas tube is short. What are the odds it will cycle? Both barrel and tube are supposed to be rifle length. Which is wrong? Gas port is .093, dwell is 6 15/16, 20" barrel.

I'm thinking it's the difference between forged and billet. It looks like your lower is forged.

My wife's dipchit (48) has been a nightmare since he was 14. Married when he was 12. Every time I tried to straighten him out she would go behind my back and coddle him. After seeing this and reading the last few pages, I'm inspired to try this out. Gonna be starting from scratch so any help would be greatly appreciated. Measure the inside of the upper, that will tell you if it's gen2 or not. If it is a gen2, you're better off starting over. I inadvertently got a gen2 barrel when I first started out and now have a heavy blowgun that has a leak about half way down.

Is the buffer tube holding the retainer pin down or the buffer itself? The tube doesn't appear to be screwed in far enough.
