  1. Thanks! It's just 22". It looks a lot longer in the pics then In person lol.
  2. Under 12lbs with a loaded 10 round mag. Better then I was expecting.
  3. Well i finally got her ready to go shoot, Woohoo! Next step, see how it functions and get started on breaking it in.
  4. Got my stock and muzzle device on the way. Final two parts to get her finished up!
  5. Cooked this the other day in the oven as well and it turned out great! Thanks for that recipe.
  6. Welcome from Ga and thank you for your service!
  7. I'd tease with it also if mine was like that lol
  8. That's a killer set up!
  9. Nice gun! Have to admit I'm a little jelly of that work bench set up.
  10. Definitely a big relief
  11. Well i feel stupid, lol. If y'all have a DA award I'll gladly accept it. I put my firing pin back in the bcg and it's not getting getting hung anymore. I didn't try with a live round but i guess it was the cam pin twisting that was causing the issue.
  12. Not sure if this is a good deal or not but here it is anyway https://palmettostatearmory.com/tula-smm-125-gr-fmj-brass-cased-300-aac-blackout-ammunition-20-rounds-smm3001251000-brass.html
  13. Ok, thanks. I'll keep messing with it.
  14. Welcome from Ga! Some great info from very knowledgeable folk here for sure.
  15. The gun wasn't dry. I soaked the bcg overnight in synthetic and put some az lube throughout the upper. After messing with it some more i feel like it is the bolt head getting hung up in the chamber some how. I just can't tell for certain.
  16. Ok, so i got my barrel, gas block and tube, and handguard installed yesterday. Decided to try to hand cycle some rounds today just to check things. After i chambered the first round i couldn't pull back the charging handle but maybe a half inch. Removed upper from lower, played with charging handle and bcg a little and it came free. Reassembled everything, tried again and the same thing. Got everything back apart and freed up and put just the bcg in with nothing else and it still gets hung trying to pull it out. If i wiggle it up and down a couple times it comes free. Could the bolt be catching in the chamber or something? I took the firing pin out just to be safe, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I can take pics if needed just not sure of where to take them of.
  17. Well that's interesting.
  18. I'll definitely be trying it soon. I guess it did good in the oven then?
  19. Welcome from Ga! Hope it shoots good for ya. Sounds like you got a real good deal.
