rob, if you can afford to keep the Sig do it. Who know's where youll be 20 years from now. i have only sold 2 guns. One was a S&W 4006 and the other my GSG-5. I solf the 4006 cuz it was junk. I sold the GSG as a favor for a begging friend. Back in 92 or so I bought a Colt Sporter Match HBAR for $650. Any idea what that would cost new in 2013? Same with my Desert Eagle. They now cost double what i paid. My list is long. Lastly save it for your boy. When Im dead youll thank me for this advice

Thanks for the input guys but an unexpected turn of events put me in a different direction.He's getting a pair of mountain bike shoes. LBS gave me a sweet deal on a 2013 Cannondale Jekyll.Had zero cash so I had to charge it... Anyhow at least now I have a second bike so the kid or anyone else can ride with me. I have eliminated his excuse for not keeping up with the old guy on his POS Walmart bike.

Well if you want to keep it Armalite it will me slow going for sure. Maybe you can send an email and or pm to member mrraley and see if he can help you out with something from his personal stash. Alternatively skip the Armalite website and call to see what they can offer. Armalite sometimes has barrels from their custom shop. Also as was mentioned earlier a call to Rainier might be helpful
