We used to put those old black powder exploding targets on gallons of gas and cans of starting fluid. We would then shoot them with my 22-250 with Hornady SX (I think) ammo. Best fireballs I ever witnessed. Snap....I was an adult <laughs>

From what I gather today at the meetings they cut off pro gun testimony at 3 minutes while anti's could ramble on. Also during the testimony of a pro gun cop the video stream conveniently switched to a traffic camera. I heard there were also Aurora victims brought in to further the agenda You cant make this stuff up. I think these hearings were simply a formality. Their minds were made up in December. Get ready for CT to be the new blue print or model for gun control. My old lady supports my decision to defy whatever they pass

I spent decades of weekends and vacations shooting, snowmobiling etc at my parents in Malone and Owls Head NY just north of the Adirondacks. A lot of good people with old fashioned values. A very large population of hunters. This is also where I ran in to a lot of anti AR15 sentiment from hunters. Sounds like these folks are waking up. I always thought one day i might return there to live. Now a lot would have to change for that to happen. This story pleases me.
