Today the Ct governor was eager to reference NY's new laws. He accepted callers on a local radio station. His argument is society has a right to decide that nobody needs these guns. He went on to reference other past gun control measures. He spoke as though they actually worked and prevented crime. Basically we know better than you what is good for you. He also brought up a story about shotguns only having 3 rounds. As though that makes sense... We care more about the safety of animals then people is what they have been spewing here. To me there is truth to that. I would prefer the company of any wild animal to these assholes.

They are talking gusts up to 85 mph. That is stronger than Sandy and the wind storm we had a few weeks ago. Both were pretty devastating. If we lose power I have standing pilot hot water and stove. I also have a blue flame heater on a flexible hose in the basement. Im not opposed to drilling a hole in the hardwood floor to re-locate the gas line. Im in the 12"-24" zone. Even 6" with wind is a disaster around here. This is going to suck

Well I heard from Erin today. After two days at Myrtle Beach, today they hit Tampa. Their home destination I believe will eventually be Orlando

Needless to say there is a reasonable chance I will go off the grid if the blizzard is all it can be
