  1. If we do an East Coast shoot, I'll be securing the most centralized location to do it that I can. Ideally there won't be a massive difference in how far everybody has to go to join the shoot.
  2. *Shiver* Hooah!!!
  3. Tom is right, we got ourselves a 'mergency situation going on in the "how often do you shoot" sector. It time for you workaholic pansies to put on your man pants and demand some time off. We've discussed setting up a group shoot towards the end of the year, and we need to hear from anyone possessing both a nutsack and a firearm that would like to participate. We need the particulars of dates that you feel you can secure with regards to time off in December. Post 'em up fellas.
  4. Affirmative, 22nd December through Jan. 2nd. Work resumes on the 3rd.
  5. I'll have essentially the end of the year off from the 22nd to the beginning of 2017. In the New Year I'll get two weeks paid vacation + various 'non-scheduled' days available as I so choose. Basically I can now work with what everyone else has available. I've used all but 3 days for this year, which is why I thought it might be easier to put it farther out and involve more people. I'm game for anything though, if you want to cook up something less formal and more immediate. I get most if not all the usual work holidays too, so there's that as well.
  6. I agree, I'm down with making it happen.
  7. Is the whole dysfunctional crowd still here? This is too good to be true! We gotta make a shoot happen, we just gotta. It's been a long time coming.
  8. SIIIIIIILLLLLLVEEEERRRRRRBAAAAAACK! *Jerks down pants*
  9. Yes sir, it's been awhile. How are things going out your way?
  10. Welcome to the forums! My first suggestion would be a Criterion 18.5" Mid-weight barrel, I've had extremely good results from mine.
  11. Well, well, well... If it ain't the Window Licker in Chief! Long time no see Jon! How ya doing brother?
  12. Just some random Carolina peckerheaded redneck, don't worry about it, just get your gear together and come on over.
  13. That would be epic! I pick up an extra week of paid vacation next year, we're still far enough out to plan an awesome spring fling. That is, if any of the old worthless bastards I remember are still capable of operating motor vehicles...
  14. I've earned it, might as well get it over with. I'm going to try. One of these days I might get to document a range trip, who knows....
  15. Guilty bro. I'm sorry man, I volunteer for latrine scrubbing when Tom hosts "blazing chimichanga week" again.
  16. I landed the job of a lifetime and just went bat-guano crazy about getting my life back together financially. I tied up a lot of time working my butt off, both on the clock and at home. I'm much better situated these days, thought I'd drop in and see if anybody remembered me.
  17. Word to the wise, trying to hide in Tom's 'fridge may end up consuming much more of your life than you might think. I now advise against trying it. P.S. Tacti-kat is a bad kitty, he knows things, things that can change a man...
  18. I finally got to be on Tom's team! Yeeeeee haaaaaaw!!!!! Say, what've you cork lickers been up to? It's been awhile!
  19. This oughta be interesting....
  20. Right on, Shepp.
  21. I don't see where they ever installed the through pin to keep it from backing off the threads...
  22. I think some pics would be nice, barrel and extension, might not help us fix your problem but could be a great "don't let this happen to you" scenario.
  23. That's a great start, but what's the bait?
  24. Make sure your mag is seating at the top of it's possible travel, your bolt is less likely to slip off the round then.
  25. That won't work because your barrel nut is designed to bottom out on the barrel extension shoulder and press it against the receiver face. Facing that amount of material off the barrel nut won't change where the nut seats on the barrel extension shoulder.
