I'll have essentially the end of the year off from the 22nd to the beginning of 2017. In the New Year I'll get two weeks paid vacation + various 'non-scheduled' days available as I so choose. Basically I can now work with what everyone else has available. I've used all but 3 days for this year, which is why I thought it might be easier to put it farther out and involve more people. I'm game for anything though, if you want to cook up something less formal and more immediate.
I get most if not all the usual work holidays too, so there's that as well.
