  1. Let's consider our newcomer friend warned regarding his mistake and give him a chance to otherwise get along, I think your points have gotten across. Don't sweat the small stuff AA, we'll be glad to help you as best we can.
  2. Welcome to the forums, I was wondering the same... How did you find our little corner of the Internet?
  3. I'd just wear hearing protection once I got to the area I'm hunting.
  4. The only thing that comes to mind is that when you hunt without hearing protection the increased muzzle noise is going to scramble your brains. Otherwise, a muzzle brake seems pretty useful, especially if you want to be able to track a long distance shot.
  5. Nice!
  6. Entirely, it's only safe when pointed in a specific direction. Come to think of it, it needs a 'this side towards enemy' label, wouldn't want to gut shoot yourself.....
  7. It needs to be longer, ya know, to make the recoil more manageable and all...
  8. Based on your description, your barrel extension could also be off spec. If the shoulder is set back too far, it would explain quite a bit of your issues. Not saying that's the issue, but it would be on my list of possible suspects.
  9. Oh no, Cali is out to ban everything now. Ya'll gonna be pointing blunt sticks and shouting 'bang bang, RELOADING'!
  10. Congratulations Pappy, enjoy your retirement for a while and then find a way to keep yourself busy.
  11. What did your original message concern? We'll gladly help you if we can.
  12. I forget where I read it now, but it has been suggested that the fat in the gelatin was liquefied, heated, compressed, and ignited by the bullet impact.
  13. I see your point, giving ATC a call or email with that question would be in order before you take any metal off of it if you're unsure. I'll vouch for the trigger when it's installed and adjusted though, I like it even better than the Geiselle triggers I've tried, but that's just my $.02 on the matter.
  14. Don't modify the safety, the trigger is manufactured with extra material where the safety cam engages it. That material is provided to allow for hand fitting where needed. Light filing on that section of the trigger is all that should be necessary to establish proper safety function, machining it under power is unnecessary and interferes with the function of the safety with other components with different specs.
  15. I heard that he managed to piss off tacticat, who soaped the bottom of his shower...
  16. I "eff up" in some way on a daily basis, some people are just human and have less than optimal days. It isn't right to judge them by a incorrect order or two.
  17. Good deal, glad it worked out for you and Fulton Armory is in the clear.
  18. You sure can. Go for it!
  19. If you're not sure how to post pics of your item, we'll be glad to help, but by the rules of the BST section you must have a pic of the items you're selling.
  20. She'd be catching swimmers by the millions if she went with me.....
