Usually going by the manufacturer and model listed on the receiver will get you by, but 308 AR or "large frame AR" are both recognized generic terms.

I like it! Grips, Dot/Optics, Trigger, Mag Type, Muzzle device are all still up for suggestions.

It's a mid-length upper and gas system, prefer something with rails, length isn't important but weight is, I want to shoot on the move, so it can be long provided I don't have to modify the front sight, that'll come later.

I don't know, but you need to re-read this thread and answer some questions. I don't know if you spotted a shiny object or something but I need to accessorize and you're off in la-la land. Get with the program, this is a rifle now.... That's right, I went from a receiver and rifle kit to a completed rifle in about 1.5 hours without a manual and no help or specialized tools.

Ball-busting is a regular occurrence and is not to be taken as personal dislike, it happens from top to bottom with complete disregard for seniority or status. Don't take ball-busting personally, it's a culture thing here.

I bought a Ferrari 550 Maranello for trips to the grocery store. Why they put 6 gears in the pattern instead of the 3 I use is beyond me.....

I'm more in the Practicality Of Use camp. If having 20 MOA elevation gain built in doesn't somehow affect my intended use, it's fine. I have yet to see a practical complaint relating to that feature.
