  1. It's a great cause, I'll make it $200.
  2. Moved to correct section.
  3. Usually going by the manufacturer and model listed on the receiver will get you by, but 308 AR or "large frame AR" are both recognized generic terms.
  4. I like it! Grips, Dot/Optics, Trigger, Mag Type, Muzzle device are all still up for suggestions.
  5. I do remember! That 300 BLK is a sweet setup.
  6. It's a mid-length upper and gas system, prefer something with rails, length isn't important but weight is, I want to shoot on the move, so it can be long provided I don't have to modify the front sight, that'll come later.
  7. First order of business was to get it together, now that it is built, I'll accessorize.
  8. Yes, it works now, haven't edited my post.
  9. Can't see the HG, but good to know on the heavier bullets.
  10. Until I have optics or sights figured out, I'm gonna hold off with the sawzall.
  11. I don't know, but you need to re-read this thread and answer some questions. I don't know if you spotted a shiny object or something but I need to accessorize and you're off in la-la land. Get with the program, this is a rifle now.... That's right, I went from a receiver and rifle kit to a completed rifle in about 1.5 hours without a manual and no help or specialized tools.
  12. Ball-busting is a regular occurrence and is not to be taken as personal dislike, it happens from top to bottom with complete disregard for seniority or status. Don't take ball-busting personally, it's a culture thing here.
  13. I bought a Ferrari 550 Maranello for trips to the grocery store. Why they put 6 gears in the pattern instead of the 3 I use is beyond me.....
  14. I'm more in the Practicality Of Use camp. If having 20 MOA elevation gain built in doesn't somehow affect my intended use, it's fine. I have yet to see a practical complaint relating to that feature.
  15. Nothing wrong with PSA. The great thing about Fulton is that you can get everything you need in one place at the same time, at a fairly significant discount.
  16. Sorry to hear that Guru, we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
  17. I'm curious along the same lines, especially since the design and intent is to the DMR role. Maxxing out your potential elevation adjustment would seem desirable by my thinking, but I digress.
  18. That's OK, Tom and Me have been training for the overwatch role, and Rene deserves the promotion.
  19. I had completely forgotten that! My trolling has slipped quite a bit since then....
  20. Trebuchet? Sounds like a French sex act.... "Me and these two hot chicks are going to have a menage a trois and follow it up with a trebuchet. It's gonna be awesome!!!"
  21. They must put those little bastards in with an Arbor Press...
  22. Wouldn't balance the outcome, Tom has mastered the way of the rolling pin.
  23. Rough chamber, probably from a dull reamer. You need your chamber touched up with a sharp reamer, followed by a chamber polishing. A decent gunsmith can do both.
  24. It is what it is brother, she's very cool when she's OK, but if her bad days put Tom-ass on high alert? Fuk no, I'm out.
  25. Where's the popcorn? I can't wait to see this!
