My entire upper; receiver, carrier, bolt and barrel extension, are NiB coated. I'm still on the search for a cam pin and a firing pin.

If it's just because you want it to match, then cool... but NiB doesn't do anything for your lower. There are no moving parts in your lower that would take advantage of the NiB. I have a NiB upper and a OD green anodized lower. Wmdguns.com will NiB anything your heart desires. They do all the FailZero work.

Things I've done/seen that seem to make a difference. 1. Heavier buffer, or a "heavybuffer" to be more specific 2. Tubbs flat wire, chrome silicone, buffer spring. 3. JP Enterprise silent captured spring 4. Ear plugs

I still have the Butcher add pig fat to my sausage. Wild is too lean. I don't waste money trying to get "good cuts" either. 80% of the beast turns into sausage, either breakfast or summer.

I have no idea who made the barrel, but it was the only one I could find that had all the options I wanted; Contour, twist, and nitride treatment. I already have a melonite carrier, but I have to get it modified for this build. I'm shipping it out soon for some custom milling.

I bought THIS barrel I'm talking to a local manufacturer about making a NiB coated bolt. They are new and right in my backyard. They claim to have an enhanced bolt, similar to the super rare and high sought after LMT bolts.

Why? The MBUS set is only $75... And lighter.... and they deploy faster... and returns to rest easier... And they make french fries taste better... and they make your wiener look bigger...
