  1. Ok. This should be covered now
  2. Yeah. Trying to get there. My phone is getting wonky for some reason. This site doesn't like links, and tries to convert them.
  3. I made one for Sketch too. For some reason I can link it from my stupid phone.
  4. I'm adding people's names as the checks come in. I expect the list will jump several names by Monday. I got a few FB hits on this as well.
  5. You're right. I'll have to give you honorable mention at the end. You donated on the Go Fund Me page. I'm mostly tallying the funds publicly, so everyone can see I'm not pocketing any of this. I'll post a pic of the card receipt, and a picture of them receiving the card.
  6. Anyone got a set of 6.8SPC II gauges laying around? I'm building a special upper for an old family friend. He's a retired LEO in his 70's, who used to work with my old man, and just likes to blast from a bench all day. He just had 4' of intestines removed due to cancer, so I'm building him a new blaster for when he's recovered enough to go out and play again. I got everything laid out for the upper when I realized, I forgot about checking this out with gauges. Im mating a Wilson Combat 18" barrel to a AIM Surplus bolt.
  7. Forgive my memory guys. The long shifts, and having 3 kids, have zapped my brain. Please include your screen name in any PP gifts. I know most of you, but it'll save me embarrassment which has now struck me more than once.
  8. Faxon long ago became one of my favorite company's to deal with. I love their products, love their ingenuity, but most of all their service. Nathan has been a stellar example.
  9. I'm making a big order today. Any suggestions? Wife likes dark roast, I prefer something like meth and coke warmed up in muddy water.
  10. The only fair prices I find at Cabelas and Bass Pro are their own labeled products (Bass Pro's brand is called Red Head). I have lots of Red Head gear.
  11. You guys are great! Im headed out of town right now, so I apologize if I don't update this fast enough. I really appreciate all of your generosity. I swear the biggest hearts in America are present on this website... even Ron the Grinch's heart grew one size yesterday. Lol
  12. I don't waste my money on LPK's for the .308AR. I use so many aftermarket parts, the LPK is practically wasted. It's cheaper to buy the parts you need individually, then buy the upgraded parts you want. My first LPK upgrades are always the trigger assembly, selector and bolt catch. Sometimes even the takedown/pivot pins.
  13. That's magnificent!
  14. Put it right here or make a new one. I can un-clutter this thread if needed.
  15. That's a great idea. I still have a blade you made. It's one of my prized possessions!

  17. This is my buddy Jonathan. He's recently 4 years old, and just a few months older than my own son. Both his parents work at the state hospital that I spend a majority of my shift at, and I've known them for nearly 15 years. A couple weeks ago, Jonathan fell and hit his head, suffering a traumatic injury that caused a stroke. Now he is paralyzed on his right side and has difficulty talking. He is in rehab every day like a Spartan warrior, trying to battle this injury. Mom and Dad have FOUR more kids at home (five kids total!!!), and have both taken off work so that they can be home AND at the hospital 100% of the time. They are exhausted as they have been at the hospital day and night, unrelenting, since the day of the injury. This is good, christian, all-american, gun loving, family. I am proud to count them among my friends. Being a father myself, especially with one so close in age as this little guy, I was really struck with this one. I've tried to help when I can, mostly bringing dinner for whoever is staying over night. I can't imagine being in this situation, and having to take shifts with my wife to care for our children. One of their family friends started a "Go Fund Me" account, but I hate that those programs take a percentage off other peoples generosity. Since I work for the state, I was able to donate vacation hours to assist their family, and give them an extra week off paid. Things are going to be tight for them still, so I thought I'd reach out to my "extended family" here... later this week, or early next week, I am going to give them a prepaid gift card from "The family of 308AR.com" to help however they need. I am personally putting $100 on the card to start it off. If anyone else is interested in being part of this, you are more than welcome to join me. I'm not taking anything out of this, and that's why I'm putting my money up first. Anyone that wants to participate and help can do so however they wish. I'll accept donations in any capacity and put it all on the card. You can be anonymous here, or proudly state your donation. I will keep an active tally of donors** and their donations, so that everyone can see I'm trying to be as legit as humanly possible. If you are comfortable using PayPal (gift), please use the email address RoboCop1051@yahoo.com If you'd prefer to use USPS mail, PM me for my personal mailing address. **Anonymous donors will be identified with an individual "moniker" or ID#. Being 4 years old, and still growing and developing, is one of Jonathan's saving graces. Having such a loving family helps infinitely too. This kid is still smiling every day, and gives me a thumbs up every time I go to see him. He's absolutely a warrior, and the doctors are expecting for a hard earned recovery. This is truly one of those GOOD families that deserves the help. Even if prayer is the only gift in your budget right now, it is God's infinite love that will help this child heal and recover. I have already commissioned myself to helping out as much as possible. I don't expect anyone to take on the same task as me for a family they'll likely never meet. This is just a humble request for whatever you can spare. **Anonymous donors will be identified with an individual "moniker" or ID#. Also check out these special fund raisers!!! Magwa's Special Auction (CLOSED) Sketch's Special Auction (CLOSED)
  18. New rifle for a new .308ar owner. Not enough lube. There may be other issue at hand too, but I guarantee THIS is one of them.
  19. Skipping this sale is just redirecting $100 towards that Osprey!!! which I fully intend to shoot when I come out for salmon fishing
  20. Just watched a YouTube "unboxing" video of an Inforce APL. It came with a picatinny and a Glock rail bar. Just those two. If this sale is missing BOTH, that is going to be an issue the buyer will have to accept. I didn't see anything on Inforce's website selling new rail bars, but I didn't invest any more time than a quick browse. Perhaps a call/email would garner more info.
  21. @CrashOverRide.308 which bar is installed in the light?
  22. Most Weapon lights have special cross rails (locking bars) for mounting to different guns. Glock, picatinny, HK, and a few others, all have slightly different spec locking bars. This could be a detrimental detail to the sale, as the buyer is stuck with only one mounting option. Wrong mount means the light may not fit. I don't know if the locking cbars can be bought separately. ps I'm pretty sure the bastard comment was towards me. Lol
