  1. I hate when striker fired pistols are referred to as DAO. Even the manufacturers do it.
  2. I've pointed this out to others in the past. You joined a website hosted and attended by firearm enthusiasts. Coming here and calling every large frame AR an "AR-10" would be no different than logging into MotorTrend or TopGear and calling every sports car a Corvette. When you talk about your AeroPrecision AR-10, we all hear you say you own a Ford Corvette. Even our website name "308AR" is a misnomer, as there are now several calibers available in the large frame. We can't even call it a "large frame" because a larger model has already been made.... as I'm staring at my AR-.338LM no one here is busting your balls.. yet. We're just trying to help you out.
  3. It's pretty well written.... waiting to see who gets fired over this one.
  4. I asked this question back when 300BO was still in its infancy. I was warned that mags and feed ramps don't like RN cartridges. Seeing the start of the SRC 25-45, that is all RN, I'm thinking the argument could be reexamined. You may have to experiment with COAL. We had a member here, long ago, who was loading SMK Flat Bottom 126gr and getting 2,600fps.... I believe it was @Jgun but I haven't heard from him in years.
  5. That has to be such an evil little backyard blaster!
  6. It could happen?
  7. Kimber Eclipse Pro
  8. Some people drive Fords and some people drive Chevys. I can give you pros and cons and both. There sure as hell ain't "one" pistol... not yet at least.
  9. Whoa baby! New Kimber in hands... pics this evening....
  10. You don't want to rest the rifle on a bipod that is attached to your barrel. That's going to cause a slight bow to your rifle that will defeat any chance at accuracy at "long" distance. You'd be defeating the purpose of having a free float barrel as well.
  11. It looks like Springfield Armory and RRA are going to have some explaining to do. This might have a little bit of an influence on the sales of the new XDe http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/04/john-boch/springfield-armory-rock-river-arms-trade-opposition-to-illinois-ffl-licensing-scheme-for-carve-out/
  12. Even better
  13. How long has that van been parked outside your house? Lolol
  14. Are these all going as C&R?
  15. Blue. I love that pistol. I have all the parts to build one... just being lazy. Hopefully I get off my butt soon.
  16. I think I was the original 65b. I was trying to find .308 PMAG's during the last liberal Dynasty. This was back when CTD was selling PMAGs for $99 each... fuk them!!! I'm secure in saying I never paid more than $15 for a PMAG.
  17. It's truly the best option for "us". Franklin Armory makes the DFM magazine, and this reloader makes it sweet. The DFM magazine can be DIY with any steel mag. I may even try something similar with a PMAG. Still.... it's only May (almost) and there have already been 6 or 7 new design concepts released. Californians need to NOT get their panties in a bunch and NOT make brash or expensive decision... yet! Cali residents have until 01/01/2018 to be in compliance. That's a lot of room for new designs. New, better, more affordable products are coming. Put any compliance plans on your Christmas list and update regularly.
  18. Welcome.
  19. Nothing but flip flops and house slippers from then on!!!
  20. Maybe you should've said it two months ago when this thread was still active. Hahahahahaha ??
  21. Did you get my text?
  22. Here ya go...
  23. You could also take off the mag release button, file a little off the back and the reinstall. That might get you a slightly deeper mag catch.
