  1. Call them up on Monday. They actually make a x39 spring set (not sure if that's the grey ones or not).
  2. They don't stack up to PMAGS. But they are a cheap alternate "plinking" magazine. Hexmag is releasing a LR308 mag next month. As well as a G17 mag this summer. I saw the LR mags at SHOT and they looked nice. The G17 mag was there too, but it was still only the 3D printed model.
  3. I'll remind y'all that is around a 3.5" barrel, in a subcompact size pistol.
  4. http://www.bobergarms.com/ maybe you guys already knew this? Maybe you already talked about it, and I missed out on the conversation? Well it looks like Bond Arms has bought Boberg and they are releasing THEIR "BullPup" pistol. I have to say, I was impressed... the G10 grips were VERY comfortable in the hand. Right now the .45 ACP is not being made, making the few originals very high demand. bond says in time, if the 9mm starts moving, the 45 may see production too.
  5. Giddy?! Like a virgin schoolgirl!!! I know now a cop who can ride his motor like that. He's an absolute demon on a bike. He destroys us at competitive rides.
  6. Air wolf and Blue Thunder.... I want them back
  7. The Maxim felt similar, if not lighter than my P226 with a Surefire attached. The guy said it measured 2.1 lbs. i haven't played with the H9 yet.
  8. My bad... Hudson H9
  9. Not kidding... I just put that gun down a few hours ago. It is a sick fuckin pistol. It's a 2# pistol, but it's not unwieldy at all. On the contrary, it points VERY well. If there was any possibility of being allowed to own one, I'd have put my order in this evening. It's THAT nice. Tomorrow I go to check out the "HUDSON 9"!!!
  10. I don't know the price, nor the quality, but doesn't someone make a threaded barrel bushing for the 1911? I could've sworn I saw one not long ago. Seems like it'd be a smaller investment than a whole new barrel.... although, the price comparison might not be large enough to make a difference.
  11. Call it an occupational thing... I was eating while I watched that. I didn't skip a bite
  12. The best lookin FDE pistol on he market.
  13. Got it.
  14. And likely being sold at a premium because it's the dreaded "Black Talon" despite being inferior to the newer, bonded, t-series ammo.
  15. It only works when someone else is buying ammo.
  16. Tell me about it bro. I've looked into it several times. I'm willing to invest the time and money, I just need the space. The wife and I have been hunting for a new pad (mainly because we're breeding like jackrabbits) and I'm hoping some reloading space is available in the next place.
  17. I'm on a motorcycle all day, rain or shine. So my Rosco is constantly in shitty weather/conditions.
  18. We shoot every 3 months. We train and carry the same ammo (Winchester Ranger or Hornady Critical Duty, depending on caliber). I'm good for a fresh ammo swap each session... as well as a few extra "training" boxes to go... you know, for later. I always make sure I show up with a near empty range bag, and go home with a SWOLLEN range bag.
  19. I'd love to play with some of these boutique rounds, but I don't reload. It seems the only way to play is to make your own.
  20. The funniest part is... those are Jacob's legs. One night with me, Jacob is going to have to spend the rest of 2017 in confession.
  21. .400 Corbon sounded good too, till I tried to source ammo.
  22. Hookers and blow take a lot outta me. I need the downtime between binges.
