what robo is trying to say is that your buffer tube and stock must match, either both commercial or both mil-spec. i called my ffl and she's looking into the dpms, the mk3 cmmg lower is a complete rifle lower with a2 stock, for $420. did you try linking to the tactical machining site through the forum side bar? they have stripped dpms style lowers for $229 and stripped uppers for $199. that's pretty good, and they will match, no mixing manufacturer's, which is always a plus. who makes the trigger you listed? pm me and we can get a good detailed list going, or if you are available to talk i will be around the next few days starting tomorrow before i work a marathon of 14 out of 16 days, all 12 hr shifts starting this weekend

If you are going carbine, I run a co-witnessed eotech on my Pws with a magpul acs that lines up nicely. I can't link you to it from my phone (at work ) but larue has a ctr /riser combo too.

Ill ask about the lr308b also. As far as Rra, they are fine weapons but like dpms there is a wait. Unless you can find one in the wild.

To which I reply - for the longest time they were the industry! Not only that, it is not too many years after the lr20 pmag release and they have rifles that accept those too. Keep in mind, technically there is no standard for. 308ar's

Lets back up a bit. 1. Rock river makes a fine lar-8 rifle. It's a shooter for sure, but some may badmouth it because it's a proprietary system, meaning Rra parts only. Doesn't mean the rifle is bad 2. Armalite rifles are under similar circumstances, until recently, when they came out with pmag comaptible rifles. Also very good quality. 3. The old cmmg that uses the g3 mags had issues and never really caught on, but that shouldn't be confused with the new mk3 lowers which seem to be made well. Be careful interpreting the info that's out there, many a yahoos voice their opinion far too often, don't drink the kool aid.

Not sure offhand, many here have Mega builds nd might be able to help, but there is always ways to fit things.. dremels and ingenuity can get you pretty far <thumbsup> . Just remember small amounts. <lmao>

My ffl will be glad to do GB transfers, that's how I picked up my HK USC carbine, and I know some ffl's who give a hard time about that

yupper's, we sure can! i am waiting on a set of billet receiver's from our mega group buy, and i plan on registering the lower, ( previously unreleased info!) and doing two uppers dedicated to that lower, a 14.5" match in .223 wylde and a sbr of undetermined size as of yet. all you have to do is go to your local pd, fill out the paperwork, get the approval of your chief, pay the man, and wait for your stamp, then BAM, sbr baby <lmao> <thumbsup>
