  1. Looks like all the AR15 Gun-Reviewers from Youtube are jumpinig all over this new Ruger SFAR. It's kinda sad, in a big way, with what they're saying, inside their reviews. It just shows how much they DON'T know about Large Frame ARs, in the least. It's pretty fucking pathetic, when you see it, and all - ALL - these guys are "the professionals to be trusted." They were clueless about Large Frames. THEN, Ruger dumped the SFAR, and they're all learning now. Look at, listen to, watch, ... all the comments here. We solved every single issue brought up in this vid, functionally, ... YEARS ago. Now, the Big YT Players are getting into it. And they're not doing well, with functionality. Check it:
  2. Hey, it worked, for sure. I hooked these two, right away. Damn right - it was a trap. That's my kitchen counter that thing is on... Yep - and I want to amend "The Rule", and putting that motion forward right now. My amendment is simple = if you invoke the rule on someone, and they don't realize that it was a prank to try to GET someone to invoke "The Rule" - and you call the FOR "The Rule"... they you must also nut up, and buy that product... It's all about the trappings... in the first place... I laid that out nice enough to get one of them, maybe 1.5 of them... Here it is: Everyone knows the Mk12 Mod 0. And the Mk12 Mod 1. This is the Mk12 Mod 2. RIP 2, right here in the making...
  3. That won't help - it's still an M9 - and it's still the "new" Bud Light." Both suck. Vailant attempt, my brother, but that won't work. Now we know you own an M9. Might as well switch it up to Bud Light at this point, and complete your transition...
  4. This video SHOWS you right here, what Large Frame manufacturers have no fucking clue about, and why they make fucked up guns -that WE have to deal with here, on this board, routinely. Watch this: Now, I'd like to discuss this -like I haven't, for YEARS here - and find out what's going on here?! Apparently, MAC is fed up, and venting his frustration with all this. With his vid. We've SOLVED all these problems here, YEARS ago, if you've been paying attention for the long term. BALANCE YOUR GAS SYSTEM AND RECOIL SYSTEM!!! Eugene Stoner made the damn thing work, but the aftermarket STILL can't figure that out. Balance the two systems... At any rate - fire off your comments here, let it RIP!!!
  5. I'll start a new topic discusion right now on this, in the Build Section, just to limit comment that will probably POUR into this section, just because of that vid. I'll link that topic right in here, once I make it. Edit coming up, with a link to that topic. Don't fucking reply in here - pull your Big-Girl Panties up, WAIT - and reply in what I link here. Hold your water... This is the thread that you want to watch, and comment in. Don't fuk my information thread up with comments, by replying here, in THIS thread. If you wanna leave a comment, and debate anything, then do it right here, in THIS linked thread. If you want to comment in here, I'll have your reply removed, and I'll track you down, find your home address, and I'll anonymously start sending you items from DicksByMail.com. Routinely. Forever. Don't fornicate this up, and reply here, in this thread. You will pay, and not be happy.
  6. Just posting for information - if you want to talk about this, then quote this post, and start a topic about this. Here's a video, for informational purposes only. MAC does a video (finally) on Large Frame ARs - .308ARs. For all the time on this forum, I've solved all these problems that come up. Watch the vid...
  7. This isn't bad - shows the direction this is going. Worth 30 mins.
  8. Just search their "handguards" section under the "Parts & Accessories" tab at the top of the main page.
  9. You guys seen these LaRue rails yet?... Anyone tried one?...
  10. Every single gas tube that's properly made is 0.600" longer, after the center of the gas port, to the very end. All of them. They're exactly 0.400" from the center of the gas port, to the center of the roll pin hole. They are 0.200" from the center of the roll pin hole, to the end of the gas tube. All of them. The plug in the end of the gas tube is double-crimped - one crimp before the roll pin hole, and once crimp after the roll pin hole. The crimps don't necessarily keep the plug in place, under firing pressure - but the roll pin does. If they are NOT those measurements, they are not made correctly, and may not function. Just the facts, and the numbers. Eugene Stoner wasn't stupid, and he didn't do complicated shiit - he just designed what worked - and he worked with common numbers, not complicated numbers. Just for future reference, going forward.
  11. His daughter and her husband stopped into the shop today - they're damn great people. I'll give him an Easter Call this weekend... She told me some FUNNY STORIES!...
  12. Nah, Mariah is cool. M9s, though...
  13. It looks cold, Doc - your hand is a blue as the sky backdrop...
  14. That's a sweet M9 Lone Wolf - the only thing that could make it better was if it wasn't an M9 in the first place...
  15. Love this guy's perspective, and advice - I'll be watching more of his information...
  16. Found a few more of the Shooting Heaven. SDTF. The Secret Desert Test Facility. The only limits are your gun, your load, and your skill. The real estate is already here. And it's perfect for this kind of stuff.
  17. VLTOR A5 receiver extensions are 7 5/8" internal depth (VLTOR is the only one that makes the real A5 extensions). AR15 Carbine receiver extensions are 7.000" internal depth, but commercial industry standards. The true depth of the AR15 Carbine extension (Eugene Stoner's spec) is 6 15/16" internal. The commercial market doesn't really GAF about that extra 1/16" internal depth, and on a true AR15, it really doesn't affect anything function-wise. It's immaterial. There's no way that you were shooting an A5 extension with a 2.500" stubby buffer - it would have locked up your gun on the first shot, lodged that BCG deep into the lower receiver and extension. Just MY observances on the terminology used, so some drive-by fool that only lurks here, reads something once in awhile, comes in here and sees that and tries it. Unpossible. 2.500" buffer, real A5 extension = imminent disaster on your horizon, once you jerk that trigger. Public Service Announcement almost over. Terminology matters. Now, the Public Service Announcement is over...
  18. When you guys want to play - this is my "Long Range" range... @blue109 on the gun, me observing. He's hella good on that Mk12...
  19. Don't grow up - I refuse to. I'm proudly Handicapped By Natural Immaturity...
  20. Pssssshhh... I'm just a peckerwood who lives in the dirt, with too many guns. I get the chance to experiment with alot of fucked up shiit...
  21. Might as well take a pic of the upper receiver, and post it. Let's see where the gas tube ends in the upper receiver (BCG removed). It'll look like this - this is the perfect scenario - should end directly in the center of the cam pin cutout in the upper receiver - sorry it's blurry, but the important parts are visible:
  22. Only way to go, brother, is the Law Tactical. It's pricey, but it doesn't do that.
  23. All his parts are free BECAUSE he ate that chicken!!!...
  24. This is hilarious! Kid Rock is pretty pissed off, too, about it...
