  1. It's a .30-cal AR, man. Everything about it is pricey. There's no way around that. At all. If you stick around here long enough, we'll ruin you to the point that you realize this part of the game is nothing... I'm just sayin'...
  2. Hey, man, I can make that schit look goooooood... <lmao>
  3. Good point - We love it when Ron hates us... <lmao> Glad you made it back - SO FAST! You must have been pinned the whole way back, brother... Hell, I'm glad to have been in a position to offer help during this trip - the SX was just lucky timing, but timing we couldn't pass up. The house - mi casa su casa, brother, anytime. Any time. <thumbsup>
  4. There's a definite issue with the back of the carrier hitting the lower receiver. Something's not right there. The bottom of the carrier has a channel in it, so that buffer detent isn't damaged from the carrier hitting it - it's damaged from the buffer slamming into it during forward travel. The only way it can do that is if it's NOT in contact with the bolt carrier. First, on that thing, you need to verify what buffer you have in there, and what buffer spring you have in there. I'll get to more later. Welcome aboard, man.
  5. Porter on the SlideFire (VERA!) in Slo-Mo: Dawn Marie doing the same, in Slo-Mo:
  6. Saw this rifle today - awesome stick, Shibi!!! <thumbsup>
  7. MikeDaddy does - we just shot his today. I'll have one running before too long. I know Drew has a pretty sweet 9mm AR also. Drew and I also have AR45 setups - was running my 45 today as well. Pistol-caliber stuff is WAY different than rifle-caliber. There are a few DI systems out there that are great, but most pistol-caliber ARs are blowback operated.
  8. Yep! I'll save them for later... Unless you want me to send them back with the (recovered) pieces of the phone! <lmao>
  9. YT says it'll take another 491 minutes to upload the vid - which I think is bullschit. As soon as I get the vid up, I'll post it in here... Man, we had a riot today. I ain't kidding in the least. It was so damn funny... <laughs> <lmao>
  10. In the original package that Drew sent me, he included a BUNCH of pics of himself - that pic you see is the same as his background image on his phone... <lmao> He included a 100-pack of razor blades, and three rolls of badass 3M double-sided tape. I figured all this stuff was supposed to be used together, so I used the razor blades to cut up the pics, and the double-sided tape to put his pics up on the range targets... <laughs> I got the pics out, started to tape them up, and Mike says, "What are you doing?" Well, hell, brother, I'm gonna put these pics of Drew up on the hanging steel targets down there and shoot at them!" Mike says, "What the hell did he do to you to piss you off like that?..." I was ROLLING!!! Here's all I could recover from the targets at 100 yards...
  11. Here was all we could find leftover - we scoured the area looking for every bit and piece that we could trace back to "phone..." <lmao>
  12. This was what we could recover... That damn Gorilla Glass held up VERY well, I'd say. The piece of LCD that's left was hurt.
  13. This was the Destruction Of Drew's Phone. Here was the setup - yes, that's the same can of Tannerite that I marked in the other thread... <lmao> I really did save it.
  14. The first pic is just of the .460 round, and the Hand Howitzer that fires it. This is a 4lb chunk of pain, all by itself. The second round is compared to a 9mm round. The case on the .460 looks like it's made of THREE .45 ACP cases fused together. Nuts. Blue, I can't thank you enough for having this thing out here... <thumbsup> <laughs> :happydrunks:
  15. HOLY JESUS... I have NEVER shot a Smith & Wesson .460 before. Before today... There's lot's of pics and video comin', guys. LOTS. Despite what anyone says about Gorilla Glass - it's some pretty damn tough stuff. We set off the equivalent of a shaped charge underneath it.
  16. This thing is gonna GET IT!!! <lmao>
  17. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!! It's starting!!! Damn Mike, you're pretty good calling the sections in the stadium! :hail:
  18. Good to know, if your favorite powder isn't available - easy to find a similar substitute. Burn Rates_121211.pdf
  19. Bastard... <lmao> Here's the link again, so we don't have to go back a few pages... http://www.thecutekid.com/photo-contests/20131214/my-baby-photo-1387045776
  20. 785 - close, but no Dreamliner...
  21. I can't wait! I've got work all day tomorrow, followed by Supercross tomorrow night, then dealing with you ruffians all day Sunday... Sounds like a damn good time! <thumbsup> The riddance of Drew's phone is turning into something pretty damn big! <thumbsup>
  22. Look at where we are, a year later.... My clairvoyant brother Ron NAILED it, below, too... We're taking it in the shorts on ammo now - for ammo we can even get. Who'da thunk it? Can't get some damn .22LR these days... :ugone2far:
  23. The boys and Little Woman got me a light for the XD-45 for Christmas. I'd been shopping for them and wanted one for quite awhile - and was told to "hold off..." <lmao> I know what that means. Came down to two different lights, and I like the Streamlight TLR-3 the best, for this pistola - and that's exactly what I got. The print material that comes with the light says it's a 120 lumen light, but it sure as hell seems ALOT brighter than 120 lumens. This little light-weight joker is BRIGHT. The size works out great on this pistol - perfect. Through the gate, they wouldn't have a chance - and they'd be blind. Backyard tree at 20 yards... Tree to the right of the baby-barn is 35 yards... The little shrub to the left of the baby-barn is 40 yards... This thing just straight is a badass weapon light. <thumbsup>
  24. As fate would have it, that lower I have is locked in a gun locker - to which the key is on my Dodge keyring. Which would be in Dawn Marie's purse about now. At work. Never an issue when I was the only one that drove the truck... :-[
  25. Oh, I know, brother. I wanna make some 300BLK and anneal the hell out of it, in another thread. Question there came up about why I want to anneal it - that's why, above... <thumbsup>
