  1. Glad you found this place, and the info, and made the switch - how does it cycle now with the carbine recoil system, versus how it cycled with the rifle recoil system?
  2. For the record, 16" midlength gas (.308 Win gun) with a 0.750" journal should have a gas port diameter that's 0.085". My range it 0.080"~0.085", but 0.085" works on every gun with that barrel config, with all the ammo, all the time. You did go big on that gas port.
  3. That was one built by DPMS, back in the day, brother - not a copy of the PSA PA-10 3rd iteration.
  4. I thought about that, this morning. They were already shipped, so it seems. One of them was a 2-day, that shipped on Thursday, and actually got to me Friday. Bonus-Overnight.
  5. Weird. I received 2 Fedex shipments on Friday.
  6. Yep, when the Remington bankruptcy and breakup happened, PSA got DPMS and Remington shotguns. There are reports on here about who bought what. JJE Holdings is what to search on - that's PSA.

  8. For note, this is one of the new PSA DPMS guns. PSA bought DPMS in the Remington breakup debacle.
  9. What's the details on the recoil system on this one? Is it all Armalite AR-10 Carbine recoil system parts? Get this buffer from Clint @ heavybuffers.com, if that's the case, and it'll solve what's going on right now. Guaranteed. Scroll down on this page, and look for this one: https://heavybuffers.com/ar10carbine.html For .308 ARs with Extended Receiver Extensions: XH Carbine Buffer (8.5 oz) w/.308R Buffer Spring - $140 XH Carbine Buffer + .308 Rifle Spring Quantity: If you have an extended (7-5/8" deep) receiver extension on your gun I recommend an XH carbine buffer and a .308 rifle buffer spring. This includes VLTOR A5 tubes and the Magpul UBR Gen2 stock. Many .308 rifles come from the factory in this configuration - LMT, S&W, LaRue, POF, etc. My note - this is next up on my .358 Win AR, to control that heavy-kicking bastard. It'll happen before November, for sure, be test fired and solved, and be ready to go by Vet's Day weekend.
  10. ^^^ I've heard that same exact thing before, somewhere here on this board. Almost like I said it myself, previously. I swear I've said that before, exactly like that.
  11. I'll meet that half, any day of the week. They'll shiit their pants, once they want to take it real. They are the aggressors, history has shown us for the last decade - they incite, they burn, they pillage. They don't want to cross that line, though... Once they do that -the other half... have been ready for them for a long time. Strike that match, they do not want to do. Best Yoda voice I can muster... Yep.
  12. Double-tap
  13. ^^^ Exactly. That's what the topic of that turns into, brother.
  14. Firing up another batch of this tomorrow morning. Haven't done it in awhile, and I miss it dearly...
  15. Great update, and well done on the gun. Fine work.
  16. I can understand that part...
  17. I know I've posted that one before. There's a ton more, Shawn Ryan knocks it out, and does a great job. If you haven't seen/heard the one with DJ Shipley, check that one out. Son of SEAL Legend Don Shipley, and a SEAL Legend in his own right.
  18. You'll love this one then... Tu Lam.
  19. Already been stated,. above in this thread. It was this , below vvv...
  20. Damnit...
  21. No worries - it'll work. That's a non-issue. Something invented for a problem that doesn't exist. That little MI piece on top is completely unnecessary. If your upper twists when trying to put on a barrel nut, whist using a reaction rod - then the barrel extension wasn't properly torqued to 175lb/ft to the barrel in the first place. Better you find that out when trying to install a handguard or barrel nut, than later. If that MI little block on top becomes useful, then your entire barrel wasn't put together correctly from the barrel-maker. I've never seen such a device, works on both. Only ones I've ever seen thus far are either small-frame ARs or large-frame ARs. Maybe something new came out, and I didn't notice.
  22. Read that when it hit the news, and the GAT article today was completely perfect...
