I can pin some Aero M5 receivers to some real DPMS LR-308 lowers for you and take pics, if you want. They pin together perfectly. Interesting, right there. That's not a DPMS LR-308 lower receiver, but instead, a Noreen. If you want pics of the DPMS (real DPMS) stuff pinned together with Aero M5 receivers, let me know. I've already done it numerous times.

Armalite. The Armalite AR-10 gas tubes are the longer ones, over the standard AR15 gas tubes that most manufacturers use.

DO NOT build a .358 Win AR yet. Let me work this thing out. It's not evil - it's demonic. It's pure pain right now. Go build something else in the meantime. But not this. Build some other caliber, just not this one. I'll figure it out.

Well, neither of us cleaned his clock. But I think we shot better than he did, anyway...

That guy on the left above is badass as badass comes. He always does great. I hope the guy on the right keeps getting into our squad, because he can get better. Sure, he's a PD Sniper, get it. He can get WAY better. We both cleaned his clock this month, and I don't remember shooting with him before, either.

Overall results, if anyone wants to check them out. We put up some good numbers this month. https://practiscore.com/results/html/bdb00289-7a98-484c-b7bd-f0fde72bf321 https://practiscore.com/results/html/bdb00289-7a98-484c-b7bd-f0fde72bf321?page=matchCombined

WE GOT AFTER IT!!! @JBMatt and I ended up with 43 hits out of 47 possible targets. He beat me pretty well in the timed stage - we both cleared that stage, but he cleared it FAST AF!!! Out of 55 total people that were there, that left him in 15th place and I ended up in 16th place, for overalls. Pretty damn great day, I'll tell ya's.

Barrel Gas Port Size,308/338/260/243 etc.
98Z5V replied to survivalshop's topic in 308 AR - What You Need To Know
Needs a 0.090" gas port diameter - or very, very damn close to that. -
LOL... This is Kim.. Clearly we need to hang out more... fall shoot is down.. Of course it is me.. I only take secretary notes when some people cant get ahold of Tom. This is Kim... Definitely not one of Tom's personalities... Think he has enough... Just the one and only Kim, wife, ex-wife, ex-gf, and current gf. There can only be one of me... Although my sister is pretty close.. And Tom handled both us sisters for a whole weekend at Grand Canyon, and didn't push either of us in. LMAO. Lets say we as in my sister and I are awesomely funny together and apart. Just grab the popcorn and beer and sit back and watch the show.

Welcome back - see you lurking...

Why you doing that to him?...

@Belt Fed, Pipe Hitter's Union is looking OUT for you, brother... I'm just sayin'.

Real gear doesn't fuk you over in the long run. That's some cheap, knock-off shiit, right there. You go beat on it, and the stitches fail. No way. But, you do you. Go run it hard. We do, out here.

Help finding or bulding an AR10 Armalite upper
98Z5V replied to edteach's topic in Building a .308AR
I'm sure I can learn something from this. You are correct, Sir. -
I'll need a black and gray B-Tac V-Tac, for certain, and another one in "Just Dirt Colors" for certain.
-
I'm in for a couple, at least.
-
The B-Tac V-Tac is the shiit, brother.
-
Let's see, 12.5" .308, 13.5" .308, 16" .308, 18" .308, 18.5" .308, 16" .338 Fed, 16" .358 Win, 20" .260 Rem. Another 20" .260 Rem upper completed. I think I'm forgetting a caliber... Nope, the .243 Win is a bolt gun.

Spectating. And learning. -
Just for informational purposes for others that read this - PSA uppers will not pin to Aero Precision M5 lowers. And vice-versa. PSA and Aero M5 = No Go. Aero M5 receivers DO pin to DPMS LR-308 receivers, back and forth. The DPMS LR-308 receivers are THE pattern, when we're talking about "DPMS-based" stuff. PSA receivers also DO NOT mate up to DPMS LR-308 receivers, in any way, properly. I've tried that, too. SO, as a disclaimer, telling someone that the PSA receivers are a fit for DPMS style other-parts - not good info.
