I'll buy all the "guns that don't shoot anymore" from you fuqrs. Because they're broken, I'll give you 25% or their street value. Or, you can just turn them in for a $100 gift card at your next Gun Buy-Back that your state has. My 25% offer will probably be more. Then, I'll clean them, shoot them, and post videos of how badass they really are, and brag about how cheap I got them.

I'll offer my comments tomorrow sometime - I'm looking over all this, especially the cases. I've seen this before. Give me some time to get it all together, brother.

I read AL's 1st post, and thought that, was coming here to say that. This process would take me weeks. I'm not kidding.

SIG in Serious Damage Control Mode
98Z5V replied to 98Z5V's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
FUk. FBI figured it out. There IS a problem. 320s have issues. Check it: -
Stellar. When I shot the Rocks stage, I lost alot of brass, and the stuff ain't cheap. It was told to me that it's ejecting at 2 o'clock - and my brass was flying into the crevices between rocks. Gone. Gun cycles fine, locks back empty, etc. So, I put on one of the new Faxon Adj gas blocks, and I'm tuning it in this weekend. No more lost brass, and it's gonna get tuned to lock back empty mag, and put brass in a tight pile at 4:30. 45 possible targets, I hit 39. It was a windy day, so it was perfect for the longer distance stages, 4 and 5. Where it got me was on a KYL stage - hit the next to last target, and it spun that thing all the way over upside down, and the thing kept swinging. I missed the final target, the tiny bastard, and had to go back to the last target I hit - and it was still swinging - for over 20 seconds of my 90 seconds. When it finally calmed down, I shot it again, and the 90-sec buzzer went off... Couldn't send one for the tiny target. Time's up, you're done... The caliber put me in the Heavy Metal category, and I was 3rd out of 6 that day. With a 39 out of 45... In the MIL/LE category, I was 5th out of 12, and the top-ranked Heavy Metal dude in MIL/LE. I'll take that all day, every day

I'm not buying in to the "per caliber" thing, brother - no matter how many 22 Silouhette guys blasting 400 yards complain. Shiit, @Armed Eye Doc can do that offhand with an iron-sighted 30-30 at night. ELR is exactly that - Extreme Long Range. Way the Fuq Out There. A long way's off... Whatever distance someone shoots with a small caliber, doesn't really matter. Shooting a couple miles, that takes alot more gear, equipment, time, training, ammo, land, understanding and practice/training, and way bigger, more efficient calibers. This is ELR.

I completely forgot that you are machining all this stuff at home...

Alright. So you get bolt lockback - you have the room, without coil bind on the Sprinco Red. Let's go the other way, before you order parts. Go Rifle Receiver Extension, and a custom buffer from @Slash at HeavyBuffers.com. Use the same Sprinco Red spring. Get a Rifle receiver extension, have Slash whip up a Rifle buffer that will work, with the head dimensions that you running on the no-coil-bind buffer head right now, that custom monster... and it's gonna be WAY heavier than the 14.6oz that you have right now. Throw massive weight at it, and it'll solve this problem - if it cycles. Have him load that thing FULL of tungsten weights... If it doesn't cycle - start looking at why, and you can always start swapping out tungsten weights for steels, and keep the base body mass of the RIfle stainless buffer - with the huge head on it... 10mm PCCs are a MFer...

Mike @Magwa - you ever meet the guy, or play with him? https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/matt-cameron-exits-pearl-jam-after-27-years-behind-drums

10 year old song. Now... Wow, how much of this is even more true now, with the amount of garbage coming out of MSM... It's unreal. The stated lies are completely unchecked, mostly, but it looks like there might finally be a pushback against complete bullshiit. Hope it works, the pushback. Call 'em out. More are, these days.

Albro, blowback, right? What are your reloads - from the start, to the downloaded stuff that you're running now. Have any chrono data on what you've shot, per load? That's a loooong barrel for a 10mm AR pistol - those velocities are gonna be up there. What's your .40 SW numbers, compared to these? I have some ideas, but want to make sure I'm on the right track. I don't know how I missed this, until I saw the dates. Last summer and fall sucked for me, and I dropped off the radar.

That ain't Google, brother - that's the AI shiit that's showing up at the top of ever search now, and it's there because the mass of the population is lazy AF. That's an average of everything the integrated AI algo can find, that hits certain keywords in the search title. So, that's factoring in some guy shooting 22LR Silhouette Comps at 400 yards, and stating that he's shooting ELR. Most state it only starts at 1500 yards, and many, many more say it doesn't start until beyond 1760 yards. The people shooting the King of the 2 Mile, and have for years, are really the only ones that can give their opinion on the definition of "where / what range does ELR start?".

So, 4 or 5 years ago, we discovered that the offset Long Range site, from the SDTF - that particular 850-yard target over there, was 1.00 Miles from the campsite right at SDTF. We've been shooting a legitimate Statute Mile (1760 yards) ever since. In all that time, we were simply shooting at an IPSC plate, which, at 18" wide, isn't even 1 MOA wide for that distance - run the math. 2 Fall Shoots ago, we have a few years of this Mile thing under our belt, and we increased the target size, and more people start hitting the Mile, with many more calibers. That was the desire - get more people on target, get more hits, get more people interested in stretching this stuff out further. But, then, we're getting hits with a 6.5 CM, that goes subsonic at 1400-1500 yards... I mean, if you shoot at it long enough, you'll probably hit the thing... This coming January will be the 2nd anniversary of setting up the 2k. We had to do something. We had to stretch the distance, over the Statute Mile, 1760, make it tougher, and eliminate the braggarts with their 6.5 CM "that shoot a Mile..." well, they HIT the Mile, but that doesn't mean "they shoot a mile..." Big difference... Last Fall, 2280 came out. This Fall, more is coming out, and we have 2900 on the books... Hopefully... Everyone is now talking "ELR" this and that - we're not shooting ELR... Nowhere close... Of course, back in the day, you were a badass if you could plan, set up, and execute a shot at 1,000 yards. Okay, we can do that with small-frame ARs now. 1k is a joke. So is the Statute Mile, 1760. All we're simply doing is shooting the Nautical Mile (2,000 yards), and hitting it routinely. 2280 came up, 4 people went up the hill, 4 people hit it. Great. BUT... this is NOT "EXTREME LONG RANGE..." It's just not. Yeah, it's Long Range, for sure. But, it just isn't ELR. For some perspective, check this interview out with Chase "Pump" Stroud and Erik Cortina... We're only shooting "Long Range," people - we aren't doing any ELR, not quite yet. Be quite some time before we can pull anything off like that. Gonna take different calibers, different guns, and some radically different Density Altitude, to pull off any ELR out here, FWIW. By all means, be proud of what you've accomplished, and hit - we've come a long way, in a short amount of time, really. We're not in any ELR game at this point, though...

Just under 4 seconds per 30, brother - I like your trigger discipline.

To go with the vid, you can open the link to each stage, and see what we had to shoot, as you move through the stages in the vid. These link, when opened in a new tab, should directly pull up the PDF doc of each Written Stage Brief... Of note - these WSBs are sent out the night before, or more, but targets are placed Saturday morning before the match, and some distances can be different. I'll list the differences for each stage... Stg 1: T3 & T4 were 309, T5 was 449. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ps-meta/275094/documents/1750114126Stage 1.pdf Stg 2: All ranges accurate. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ps-meta/275094/documents/1750114132Stage 2.pdf Stg 3: All ranges accurate. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ps-meta/275094/documents/1750434260Stage 3.pdf Stg 4: All ranges accurate. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ps-meta/275094/documents/1750434266Stage 4.pdf Stg 5: All ranges accurate. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ps-meta/275094/documents/1750434273Stage 5.pdf Stg 6: All ranges accurate. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ps-meta/275094/documents/1750434280Stage 6.pdf FWIW: The animal stage is always just a complete a$shole...

Ah, THERE it is... I knew he'd try to get me in the ribs again, and he didn't disappoint. You know that thing ROCKS... You know it...

My thoughts- he's decided, already. Let's just buy this thing, run it, and find out what happens. If it's good - great news on the actual PSA Part Number that he bought - WHEN they assembled it ON that day. Only, On That Day... If it's off - we fix it. I'm down.
