Once you start talking low-light, and illumination, you're in my world now. I shoot alot at night, on purpose, just because of the lack of illumination. Let's spark this one up and I'll tell you all my wildest dreams, and what I already know and have done. Low-light, dark, pitch-black dark, and under full-moon. Illumination is my pulpit, and I preach it based on "how low does it go..."...

But... I already have 5 of them, and can have all the hand-loaded ammo that you'll ever need. For realz.

This is why I'm a HUGE FAN of Face Shooting. You read that right. Man or beast, doesn't matter. You shoot it in the face, and it's not a problem anymore, for you, or anybody else. So, today was a Range Day, but it turned into a conundrum, late into the week. 4th Saturday of the month is usually the Accurized AR Match, here. Well, after the October match, there was nothing scheduled for today (4th Saturday of Nov), and there's obviously nothing schedule for the 4th Saturday of December, because that's Christmas Day. So, after the Fall Shoot a few weeks ago, we already planned to make today a "pistol day" and focus on pistol shiit. And we did. However, I got a call from DirtBike Tommy late in the week, who just got a call from @JBMatt, that the Accurized AR Match was ON for today... "So, whaddaya think? We'll be shooting pistol, but the Match is on..." My answer was, "Hold on, lemme call @Moon Bootsand see what she thinks..." Phone calls made, and it was unanimous... We planned on NO MATCH because they didn't schedule it on the calendar, and we planned on pistol-heavy for this weekend, so fuk 'em. We'll go out to the SDTF and shoot pistol. So, today was SDTF for pistol-work. Oh, by the way, Kim was all hot and heavy about coming out, after showing up the last day of the Fall Shoot, when we were tearing down and recovering sensitive items back to Casa De Pain prior to the festive dinner that we always partake in after showers/gear recovery... So, Kim was there today. Thought it would be weird, but it really wasn't. That's a blessing. Now, this was a PISTOL DAY, but there's something about @Moon Boots and long guns - she just CANNOT go out there and NOT shoot some long guns... And she did... in SPECTACULAR FASHION, I might add... She crushed the 450 and 609 tank on her 5.56 gun, then went after it on the 6 ARC and .260 Rem - and she NEEDS a .260 Rem gun now... , aaaaand she did some pistol work... But she fell IN LOVE with DirtBike Tommy's CZ Scorpion. She's doomed. She'll own one soon, I suspect. Suppressed, too... She's fucked... Now, here's the ironic part... The only pics I have from today were taken by Kim, and she sent them to me afterwards. You can see the pistol spread that we have worked up here, but these shots are me and @Moon Boots going after the 450 simultaneously, and just SMASHING IT...

I appreciate the kindness, brother - really. My goal is help people with this fat pig of a weapons platform - or any other firearm, if I know something about it. You can give a man a fish, or teach a man to fish... Help people if you know how to help them, lead them, teach them... And they teach and help others. And we grow, as a community. On the flip-side, there are the assheads that aren't really asking questions, but instead demanding information... "Since you KNOW it, you MUST tell me..." Those are the fun ones. Now, where the gun guy fucked up, before he went and got his gun, - all my humble opinion here - is he didn't do one thing... Looking at it now, just in videos, with all the aggression going on from green shirt... Here's what I would have done, AND THEN turned inside and got my gun. If he would've DONE THIS, and green shirt is still there, AFTER THIS, it definitely proves that green shirt is super-aggressive, and want more, and now he's gonna get more. Planted back foot, full force fucking front snap kick to the sternum, and LAUNCH that motherfucker backwards off my front porch. NOW. Don't look where he lands, who cares. He's gonna need a minute to catch his breath anyway, so that buys time. Turn inside, grab PC Carbine, and return to the front door. If he's coming at me, pop pop. Done. I don't know if this was a clean shoot or not, that's for a jury to decide. I know that green shirt guy is a fucking maniac, and he was not going to stop the escalation of this, even when faced with a firearm. He thought he was 10 feet tall, 3 rows of teeth 2 coats of hair, and bulletproof. That's just not real for him though. There can only be one of us like that...

Tell them to FUK themselves, and show proof of the date that you had to 4473 the lower (by serial number), and tell them to bring the court case...

That's tough, here - the dude in the green shirt never left, and kept pushing... And wouldn't stop. I'll tell someone to leave my front porch. They can leave, or not, and if they persist, they WILL leave my front porch - that is MY domain, not theirs. They don't have a right to MY property, no matter what. That'll be a sticking point in this case, especially with the video that is out there... Again, my read on it...

This right here - but it's all gonna come down to "brandishing a firearm" in the court of law. "Brandishing" is gonna be what decides this... The dude in the green short did try to take his gun. There's contact on the ears of the lower receiver by the BCG in this pic above. With that internal depth measurement, and a 3.250" long AR15 buffer, it's not even possible for the BCG to make contact with the lower receiver in the spot that it did. Did you cycle the gun without the buffer and spring in there, once or twice? Something marked that lower. At any rate, you can shiitcan the whole recoil system, and save it for an AR15 build, and get the Armalite kit that was suggested, OR... You can get a KAK .308AR Shorty buffer that weighs 5.3oz (close enough) and use a Sprinco Orange recoil spring with it, in the extension that you've got. Then, you need to see if you need to fix the gas tube, and the gas port size. Then, your gun will run. Guaranteed. Here's info on why this stuff works:
