  1. What gun do you have? Do you have an actual Armalite AR-10? Or do you have something else, that is NOT an actual Armalite AR-10, but it's just doing what this guy's AR-10 was doing? Details matter... So does the amount of information that you provide, in order for us to attempt to diagnose this over the internet...
  2. A'ight, I got it - it's a tire from a 7-ton vehicle. The tire doesn't weigh 7 tons - the truck it came from does... This is the truck: Here's someone else, fighting the tire:
  3. THAT is badass! But a 14,000 pound tire? What kind of tire is THAT thing?!!?
  4. Thank ya, Al ! I'm hanging on to mine for all I'm worth. When I came into this world, she had to wipe my ass. I'm sure that one day, it'll be my time to take over that duty for her. I already told her that she's getting the garden hose... @DNP has met her - she made him promise something - if she calls, he needs to bring a sharpened shovel... Hell, @Matt.Cross has met her, too - and he was "Yes, Ma'am" all the time, in his best MealDot Accent... She loves them both...

    98's 6mm ARC

You have to have all your gear on you, and transport it yourself stage-to-stage, so I'll just load everything in the chest rig (that I take up on the hill) that I need, and wear that thing. That might trip some of the "backpack people" out... My plan was my LaRue hat, shades, wear a pair of tan Duluth Trading Company Firehose Work Pants, some Salomon boots - and a neon yellow long-sleeve contractor t-shirt...

    98's 6mm ARC

Damn right. A plan to kick alot of ass out there. I have a pic-rail GoPro mount. I need to get a new battery for my GoPro, and I'll get vid, if I get those batts beforehand. That's EXACTLY what got me going down this route, brother. I found this one from Raine, and snatched it up quick.

Did that last weekend, got new data, used new data, finalized dope charts, and came up with this. Range Cards, per stage. I'm ready to Rape, Pillage, Plunder in 3 weeks.
  8. Pulled it off for Momma today. She didn't have to do anything - had the step-dad get the potatoes in the oven, and I did all the grill work, and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent day. All ready to hit the grill. Meat first, then off and rest, and all the seafood went on.
  9. This is hilarious, brother - I found the drag strip video. It's ironic, I just started watching this guy's vids last week, when he bought WhistlinDiesel's Hellcat...
  10. That's the older 12-valve in that 'Stang. You could make some HUGE Hp/Tq with those things, with just a simple swap to the P7100 pump. Crank up the pump, and UP GOES THE POWER!!! The 24-valve engines take more work to get that initial power jump on 'em. That transition, if you guys are looking for older Dodge Ram Diesels to grab a Cummins - the 24v made it's debut in the '99 trucks. The '99s also had (manual transmission) the NV5600 trans - the 6 speed with granny low 1st gear. Before that, they were the NV4500 trans, 5 speed, granny low. Both are very sought-after to swap into Jeeps and rock rigs, but if you're looking for that 6-speed, it's '99 up...
  11. It definitely will - he lays out the information smartly, and explains it all greatly.
  12. Cooking for my mom today. Filet Mignon, lobster tails, giant shrimp, and giant scallops, all on the grill. If I remember, I'll get a pic in here. Happy Mother's Day to you all - I know you all have a mother somewhere that brought you into this world. Even though you're all Savages and Heathens!
  13. That's the DPMS LR-308 type firing pin right there. It should work in anything that's DPMS-based. Won't work in an Armalite AR-10 style, though.
  14. The CAT M4 works well, and does quite well on the bolt tail. Another good tool is the Otis Bone tool. The CAT M4 does the bolt tail a little better than the Bone tool does.
  15. You're gonna NEED that, brother. I'm running an 8oz buffer and a Sprinco Red spring in a 9mm - and it is having "issues." It's running too fast. My next move is a KAW Valley 10oz buffer, to try to slow this thing down. Normal ammo, too, 115gr 9mm, not hot by any means.
  16. All configurations are out of stock...
  17. Got a link to it? Link it, post a pic, etc.
  18. I'm gonna have a chance to work with one of these coming up very soon. I'll post info once I gather it.
  19. Great setup - you'll love it. I've got a new one to cut, so I'll measure it out and get the dimensions to you. Shiit, I'll make a thread about it, how to set it up, why I set it up that way, etc. Great fucking sling, man.
  20. @Belt Fed - you should have beaten him more as a child. I'm just sayin'...
  21. Mk 1 sling, brother - or Mk 2? I love me some Mk 1 slings.
  22. That's a very good writeup on that rifle. I can see that going for what they guess - $200k~$300k. Amazing.
  23. Nope,it's gone already. Out of stock.
  24. Never ever had that problem. That Geissele 308 rod is on "constant loan" to my gun pusher, too, and it lives most of the time in the shop. When I need it, I go get it from him, then place it "back on loan" a few days later. He uses it more than I do. Well, wait, that's not completely true - I build most of his 308 uppers, at the shop.
  25. Real Armalite number is 6 15/16" internal, common aftermarket that works is 7.000" internal. No way would I be running one of those things in a .308AR.
