  1. I don't think her current boss is giving her that choice of opinion, given her position. Her position on that doesn't matter now. DJT says so. I'm all about anti-Red Flag. Believe me. For Realz.
  2. BOOM!!! Yeah, that just happened...
  3. Picked up this barrel from Gun Pusher John tonight. Gas port diameter is 0.085". That'll work just fine.
  4. DAAAAYYYUUMMM!!! '01 was the last year for the CR500! FOURTY-FIVE GRAND?!!? Makes me wonder what my '98 500 might be worth to someone...
  5. Yeah, man - White Phosphorus grenades. They're fukkin nasty. Once they're burning, water won't put 'em out. They go until they're done, and fuk shiit up.
  6. Here's another one, about him.
  7. Short answer to his ultimate question, at the end of that. "What are you afraid of?" My answer - I'm not afraid of anything. Ever. Never will be, not in my lifetime.
  8. His story is remarkable. This is worth the time. Navy Seal DevGru guy, gets out, 9/11 happens, he wants back in. Navy gives him a BS story, so he goes Army Delta. Wow.

@Armed Eye Doc - this is your wheelhouse, brother.
  10. Told you guys this caliber was legit, men. Glad I have 3 of them, different barrel lengths. Maybe 4. I forget sometimes. 6 ARC is a performer. This is a review on a specific Geissele rifle, but there's zero reason you can't build something just as accurate as the Geissele gun, for cheaper, with the proper parts selection. Check it...
  11. Shameless plug here for @JBMatt to give the Product Announcement in the Firearms Industry, News, Gossip page... for the Ballistic Engineering triggers... Hey, Matt - here's where the product announcement goes, brother... https://forum.308ar.com/forum/41-firearm-industry-news-and-gossip/
  12. It's current state - before paint. I'm not fukkin with it before I take it to the Feb Match on the 15th. It's running - I'm leaving it alone for now...
  13. This is a 5.56 gun. .223 Wylde chamber, 18" barrel mid gas, BA barrel, 1"7" twist. If any of you guys like running .223 or 5.56 to it's ragged edge, just for competition or accuracy - some of these are still out there in the wild. Prices range from $900 to $1800, depending on what you find. And, who's selling it, for what they think it's worth. I scored the black one, the cheaper one, for $999. MSRP on it when it came out was $1549. That brown one was more expensive, but the only differences were Cerakote, the B5 Precision stock, and a LaRue trigger. I've already upgraded the black one - and it WILL GET PAINTED... Put the B5 Precision on it, and a Ballistic Engineering AR Accurized trigger. This this is absolute money, for accuracy. I love it.
  14. Scored one. Fukced up last match and shot one that a buddy had, that he scored. These things are gone now, no longer manufactured by Springfield Armory. It's not a hunting gun. It's a competition gun. It has one purpose. https://www.springfield-armory.com/ar-series/saint-edge-atc-ar-15-rifles/ This Springfield ad was filmed at the range that we shoot the monthly matches at - Cowtown Range. Here's a more indepth view of it, why it works... Announced Dec '21, discontinued now. Wow. Short life, but one great rifle. Within the first 41 rounds through it, it delivered this group. It's 0.35", or 0.60", depending on how you look at it. I fired what I had left from the last match through it, had a 10-rd mag left at the end - time to try to zero the scope with remaining rounds. Fired 3, shifted turrets, fired 3, shifted turrets, fired again - and decided it needed one more click left. Fired 3 more. I'm impressed with the gun.
  15. We hit 80* + yesterday, today, tomorrow supposedly. Supposed to be down to the normal 60-something by the end of the week. This is not something we need in February. If it keeps up, it'll be a fukkin brutal summer...
  16. Exactly. I was interested in a specific product at the 2019 show, wanted it bad. They told me they can't sell anything.... BUT!... If I'm around Friday mid-day to help them tear down, they'd list me as "contracted show disassembly help" and pay me after teardown. They gave me the product I wanted, for helping take things off one of the display racks... That's how it works, sometimes... Make communication, establish a rapport, visit back... It's all about connections.
  17. Not a pic, but...
  18. Here's some really, REALLY good insight into fast-twist barrels, and heavy projectiles. I have high hopes for this 5-twist barrel, even being short, and can't wait to test it. It'll be here in a few more days. Until then, here's the science and mentality on this kinda stuff...
  19. Shot a gas gun PRS match last weekend with a lady cop on the squad. Talked to her a little bit about it, seen her signed up a couple times previously. She's been doing pistol matches for a long time, and she transitioned into some 2-gun matches, pistol, and rifle kinda short-ish range. Now, she's getting into longer distances for gas gun rifle. I told her I thought it was fuckin' AWESOME that she does that, and more police need to do it. It's not for my safety, of sending rounds downrange at a bad guy, and sucking as a shooter, and hitting an unintended victim... It's for the safety of the individual police officer, to be able to make accurate shots, prevail, and come home at the end of shift...
  20. He's there - he met up with @JBMatt yesterday.
  21. Springfield Armory Saint Edge ATC.
