This is a badass scope. I have one on the 6.5G M4. PA is blowing out some blems at $249, and that's from a regular price of $329. Black or FDE, your choice. https://www.primaryarms.com/pa-gen-ii-5x-compact-prism-scope-with-red-green-illuminated-acss-reticle-flat-dark-earth-blem https://www.primaryarms.com/blem-pac5x-genii-acss-5.56 They include zero data for Grendel - even though it's not in the title of the scope itself (it's in the instruction manual).

Absolutely amazing. You both deserve a round of honor.
-
Both are longer.
-
That's the damn truth...

Yeah, the AP bolt catch, and the threaded pins that Aero includes. For their receivers. CMMG won't include those threaded pins that you need. Oh, and CMMG parts in your gun will make your gun fail, over time, because they suck. @Robocop1051, looking out for you, brother. You run that UBR 2, with an AR15 H3 buffer, and the spring that I told you - the Armalite EA1095 spring - and your recoil system will NOT be a problem that you have in your gun. I guarantee you that, myself, and I'll buy the parts back from you if that's the problem that you're having. Full cost that you incurred, and I'll pay the shipping to me.

Alot of people think you need to chuck this thing up in a drill, and get after it. I do it by hand, no drill, turn it by hand with slight pressure, and look at it after a few turns. See what I'm getting, see what I need... Repeat until I have a fine silver circle all the way around. Several beers are required, on a calm night, but they all work out perfect that way, nothing is over-ground. Most QUALITY uppers these days don't require hardly anything at all on them, and they're good right out of the gate. You could leave them alone, and it wouldn't matter. My $0.02.

Here's my dope chart on that thing - you better tread cautiously if you try to duplicate this load data. I'm stating that right now. What works for me in my gun, might blow you and your gun up. You need to try your own stuff first in your own gun, and start 2.0 grains lower that what worked for me in my 16" gun, and work your way up, carefully. 16" gun throwing 1000 ft/lbs of energy at 600 yards with 6 and half mils of drop...

Mine's a fucking beast. I love that gun. I started loading it with Hornady 185gr GMX projectiles, but I moved up to Hornady 225gr SSTs. It's a damn monster. 16" barrel - and it recoils less than my 16" .308 Win AR. Go figure. They're almost twins, too, as far as operational parts go. I love it... I need to paint this damn thing... For the 225s, when I changed over from the 185s, I moved to IMR 3031 powder, and its been excellent. That's the same powder I use for my 45-70 handloads, on the 405gr projectiles. Why not double-dip...

Is this the Crosman BB gun? I've been wanting one of those things...

Nothing in that new VA politician's proposal will affect a County Sheriff. If that pipedream got passed, it could affect city and state police - but not a County Sheriff.

Nobody here has shown any pics of it yet, for sure. As far as I know, there is only one company that makes a tool that will do that job. https://www.gandgrifleworks.com/AR10-Lapping-Tool-p/arlapset.htm

That gives you some concrete information to send to Fail Zero, on what's happening, and get a new bolt from them. I think they need to change their name to Fail(ed) Once, now. Nib adds to dimensions - it's a coating. You have to undersize the part, and coat UP to the dimension, within the tolerances of the part. Or, just coat enough to stay within the tolerance on the part in the first place. This isn't the first time we've seen something like this here, with NiB.

Got a pic of what they look like? I can figure out what happened if I can see the brass, brother.
-
Dear Sweet Little Baby Jesus... this has been an amazing ride, through this thread. You are all mind-boggling, and have my respect.
-
That wasn't coated by the same guy, at the same time, as the one that you have now... refer back to my previous statement, here: Use the old bolt, and see what happens...
-
Same bolt and BCG, you're using in every gun?... Did I read that right?
-
Right after 12 minutes, they get into exactly that, and it becomes more interesting... Never be a quitter, brother... Never end the fight... Stick in there until the end...
-
Nickel Boron? That adds to the dimension of the part. Try a different bolt, that works in another gun. I wouldn't initially suspect a Criterion barrel, and I would suspect a Clymer headspace gauge. Use the bolt out of this one, in this build, and see what happens.

Beto, Beto, Beto... Come on Robert Francis O'Rourke... You're not even a real "Beto..." So, this was 2 months-ish ago, Beto blew up the debates, the news... and he disappeared, as he should have. This discussion linked below is very good, very on-point, but it's all been eclipsed by the recent news of Impeachment, etc... Haven't heard too much shiit from Mad-Maxine Waters recently, either. Guess she figured she better shut the fuk up. Cool with me. Check this one out, but keep in mind, this was "news" 2 months ago - but it's very, very pertinent in the future...
-
Yep, what he said. Plus, all the specifics on this build are needed. What I highlighted above in red just isn't enough information.

They typically do not come in a zippered field bag, with any accessories. That's all extra stuff. I didn't see mention of that anywhere in that add. TYR Tactical is the manufacturer for the case, that you get with a weathervane. That's Kestrel part number 0783 - that's the zippered bag and vane setup.

Street price is $369. It's the 5700 series. "Sportsman" was the older model, under the Elite. I can explain the differences to you, but they're small. The new version says "Ballistic" in the same place that the older one says "Sportsman." Still not an Elite 5700. So, you'd be selling an older version on eBay - which people will try to nickle and dime you with. The new one "Ballistic" has a ballistic program in it, but it's not the Applied Ballistics-branded version of software that's in the "Sportsman" model. Applied Ballistics programs are much better. That is the info you use to counter the naysayers. Doesn't change the street price of $369, though. I own a hybrid - "5700 Ballistics," right when they came out, and made that transition. It's got the new firmware, but it's loaded with the Applied Ballistics software.

I do it all the time - if it's what I'm thinking is happening. It happens more often right after I put new lube on the pad and roll the first couple rows of brass hard. I load 'em anyway, and fire-form that little dent right out of that brass...
-
Damn. That escalated quickly...
-
Damn, I love some BOP engines... Next time I spray down a gun, I'll get a pic of the racking process. My .260 is about to be up next...
