For real, Nate - don't build a gun yet. We have a guy with a 300 PRC, and he'll let you shoot it. Try the thing first, see if that's what you're after, then make the decision on buying or building for that cartridge. First, we gotta get HIM to show up when we can get YOU to show up, but it shouldn't be too much of a coordination issue. We solve problems, 'round here...

Looks good for the increase in the base, brother. The internal travel is there in the scope. It'll be close, but it'll probably go, and keep the 100 zero.

You can be stubborn about this, and think it's all the same. We'll spot the shots, call the misses and corrections. we'll call the hits, too, when they happen. I'm not trying to make this hard - just trying to get you prepped, and have you leave happy - not disappointed. Success is the end of the game, in this one.

That's all Kool and the Gang, all the same hardware checking out, and all that, but checking the travel that you have right now is kinda of imperative. Not something to blow off, just based on other stuff that someone else has. Measure your shiit, brother, and see where you are. Know what you have. Don't base it off what someone else has. Measure your own gun, man. Not trying to sound like a COMPLETE dickhead - but his gun isn't YOUR gun, and all the same hardware doesn't directly equate to the same output, on the end of all this. This morphed from 1760 yards to 2000 yards, and from what's been observed already, those two games are vastly different. Just check your scope, Rex, see what down-travel you have now, and see what you have. Asking for a friend...

I just dabble in this, brother, with gas guns. There's such another world out there... For example, last gas gun match was last Saturday, well, there was another event on Sunday at the Gunsite Range, in Paulden, AZ. @JBMatt planned to drive up there Sunday morning, just to check it out. NRL Hunter Match. HOLY SHIIT, is this thing badass! Let's say you walk up to your stage, you can't look at it until the timer starts. You have 4 minutes on the clock. Timer buzzes, and you can enter the target zone and firing position - you don't know how many targets are out there, where they are, what distances they are - nothing. Timer goes off, you approach the firing position - and you need to figure it all out. You have to glass for targets, FIND them, determine their distance, then engage those targets. You can ask "Yes/No" questions to the guy running that stage... "Is that 3rd target under the tree, around 500 yards, in the shadows?".... The answer might be "No." Well fukk... Okay then... This is some serious shiit, in the competition world, and we had no idea, until we went up there last Sunday, just to observe a match. Turns out it's a 2-day match, one of the biggest in the country, and we were mind-blown. This might be something that we get into. Well, I already know that @JBMatt is COMPLETELY FUQD, and he's gona be all Balls-Deep into this one!.... It's all bolt gun stuff, hunting, everyone is running around in the very best, most expensive hunting camo gear, looking cool - big doll-hairs gear - but it is BADASS...
