Drill and tap might be your only solution, man.
-
I'll test it - and see if their +0.75" zero works, that's for sure. I have the range to tell them if they're wrong on that one... If not, there's plenty of other guns it can go on. Oh, I almost forgot... you were directly referenced in another thread, but I didn't quote you... I wanted you to find it... Kinda like "talking behind your back..." You'll find it, I'm sure...

http://www.primaryarms.com/pa-1-6x24mm-gen-iii-sfp-rifle-scope-acss-griffin-mil-reticle-black ^^^ Just pulled that thing for it, and a "new" trigger to test out. Have never, ever seen anyone talk about this trigger, so I chanced it, and got it. I'll let y'all know about it as soon as it comes in next week. Might be a real winner, if it lives up to its hype, when we're short on the $99 LaRue triggers, and can't get them. This thing was $113. Then again, it might suck. I'll keep you posted, soon.

I just need to get some shiit out of my road, so I can get this damn .260 done. THAT rifle is a monkey on my back, and I need to whip Matt Cross' ass this fall with it. Did he tell you he's enrolled and shooting in local PRS competitions? Hell no, he didn't say anything - he's trying to keep it a secret! Shady. Just shady, I'm sayin'...
-
Can't believe the shiit I go through for you people... WHAT?!!? YOU PEOPLE?!!? Yeah, that just happened... This is what sealed the deal, right here, in their advertising...
-
Eff it. I just bought this scope, for the 18" Light(er) Grendel. I'll let you know how it is, once it's in hand next week. I'm trying out a new trigger, too, so I'll report on that. Might be badass, for a 2-stage, for the price it is... Might be a runner-up for the LaRue MBT2S... Don't know 'til I get it...
-
I'm glad you didn't throw that out. I was hoping that if you did, you'd throw it at me. Probably wouldn't have made it here, though...
-
Gonna be tough - got measurements between those holes? You might need to get a polymer section of pic rail, and drill it. A long aluminum section would do the same thing, but it's easier to drill/measure/practice on a poly section. MagPul makes long poly sections, as well as other vendors.

apparently if you drop enough shitt on something.....

Yep, he's fuckin' stupid... Once I found his original post, I flagged it as spam, and a rip-off. -
Welcome from AZ - attach a pic of the rail you have, in order to get accurate recommendations. Armalite has bombed their market with a bunch of new shiit in the last couple years, so we need to know what you have, first. Rail pic, then recommendations will flow.

Looks like a 16" barrel is just magic for the .45 ACP round. The highest velocities for most of that chart are with the 16" barrel... -
Working on this for awhile, ordered extra parts when I built the first 18" Grendel. Extra Toolcraft BCG when I needed one, AP lower receiver (2) when I needed one, etc. Got impatient waiting on the first barrel (the Mk12 barrel) and got a Faxon Gunner barrel, gas system, etc. The DAY after I got the Faxon barrel, the Mk12 barrel showed up. I'd already built the gun, but stripped the upper and pulled the Faxon barrel, installed the BA Mk12 barrel. The Faxon GUnner barrel hadn't even been shot, at that point. So, "the plan" was already there... Build a light(er) 18" Grendel eventually, since I knew the Mk12-ish gun was gonna be a pig. I forgot about work I'd done for a guy, on an engine, and he was to pay me in guns, through my Gun Pusher. Last week I hit up my Gun Pusher, just to hang out, and he says, "You know, you have a gun coming to you - what the hell you want?" BAM. Answer - gimme some parts to finish off a light(er) 18" Grendel. I snatched the AP upper, ERGO 12" rail, and some other stuff. Before, I was about 60% there. Now, I'm about 90% there. Here's where it went: Stay tuned - I need to get this thing out of the way so I can get busy on that .260 Remington...

I have a 16" AR45, and it makes that slow-moving subsonic 45ACP round ring steel at 200 yards with boring repeatability. I'm just sayin'... -

Pretty damn cool, brother! I'm considering something similar; just found this place last night: https://wethepeopleholsters.com/products/springfield-xd-s-3-3-9mm-40sw-45acp-iwb-kydex-holster-we-the-people-holsters?variant=25704418504

I noticed that with his TLR-2... -
FYI... PSA using 2 different buffer system lengths
98Z5V replied to bfoosh006's topic in Palmetto State Armory
#1. H3 buffer is an AR15 part. It's 3.250" long. To run it in a 308AR, you must be running the AR-10 Carbine REceiver Extension length, 7 5/8" internal depth on the extension. #2. The Sprinco Orange spring is designed for the DPMS-based 308 recoil systems. Regular AR15 Carbine Receiver Extension with 7.000" internal depth, and shortass 308 buffers that are 2.500" long. The Sprinco Orange spring is not designed or intended for use in 308AR recoil systems that run the longer 7 5/8" internal depth extensions and regular AR15-length buffers. So, Crack, what is the internal depth of your receiver extension? That's what drives the train on this... -
Oh, you have room to do that? I don't...
-
You're filling the freezer already, brother!

Got alot going for it, with all the mil measurements, plus BDC. I want to try it out on their "Grendel zero" and see if the BDC still holds up. That will be a first on a Grendel.
-
Yep, and pricing that reflects a big government contract. The only difference in the Big Army SDMR SIG scope and the civilian model will be the reticle, and the color. Big Army version has a BDC reticle that's calibrated for the new M80A1 ammo, and the brown, of course. PA just dropped another 1~6 with a new reticle. It's worth checking out. Pretty damn sweet. http://www.primaryarms.com/pa-1-6x24mm-gen-iii-sfp-rifle-scope-acss-griffin-mil-reticle-black

SIG just got selected to provide the new scope on the new-version SDMR (which is the M110A1 CSASS). https://www.sigsauer.com/press-releases/sig-sauer-tango6-1-6x24-riflescope-selected-us-army-squad-designated-marksman-rifle/

That's pretty damn cool. I miss fishing, grew up doing it as a kid, and fished in Washington. Haven't been fishing since 2004.

The "sanctuary county" thing just came up, in IL. Those 2A supporters used the term on purpose - it's okay for Sanctuary-anything in reference to illegals, to it should be okay for 2A, right?...
