To continue this, in a way, here's a small pile of the Mk12s. The Mod 0, Mod 1, and Mod H (in 6.5 Grendel). Now, there's a way to perfect the platform, but you get away from the original platform to do that - you need to get away from 5.56. I did that with the Mod H, and made a 6.5G gun from the Ballistic Advantage 16" SPR-profiled barrel, in Grendel. I heard about if from the guys at SHOT, they didn't have one there, and I ordered it the Monday after SHOT. Dirt fukkin' cheap, too... I think I was charged something like $150, WITH a pinned gas block. It took the lady at customer service 20 minutes on hold, to even find out what I was talking about, because it wasn't even announced yet. That barrel went to 500 yards, MOA, within the first 25 rounds, not even broken in yet. So, I digress... again... How do you make this platform better? I went 6 ARC, as soon as it was announced, and went with a full LaRue 6.5 G gun - that I'd replace the barrel on immediately, with a BA SPR 6 ARC barrel... This thing is ridiculous. Random Mk12 Madness, at High Angle, because... squirrel! Now, this is probably the baddest small-frame AR Mk12-ish gun I've ever built, but there is a history here, with 18" SPR barrels from Ballistic Advantage, and one bad motherfucker Mk11 gun built on a Fulton Armory Kreiger-Criterion (when they did that) custom barrel for Fulton Armory. Grendel SPR -first Grendel I ever built - that's a rabbit hole you don't wanna go down, cost you 5 x Grendels, then the .224 Valk SPR, then the Mk 11 gun...

If you could improve the Mk12, what would you do? How do you make that platform better? The entire rifle was a vision of 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). In it's entirety. They started it, made it a reality, CRANE NSWC made it a military NSN, and it was off to the races. For the Mk12 original, the "SPR." Back in the day, "SPR" was "Special Purpose Receiver," and it was only an upper receiver, to slap on your issued lower receiver. It quickly turned into an entire gun, and that one was the Mk12 Mod 0 gun. Precision Reflex was a huge part of that. At that timeframe, the modern extended one-piece scope mounts were not really going, not invented and perfected, so there had to be a way to mount the proper scope, at the proper location, and that was "bridging the rail." That's a no-no, so other companies were involved in solving that solution. SWAN was a big one. DICK. Swan. The "Swan Sleeve..." Here's what Mk12 Mod 0's look like: Now, the US Army (SF) went Mod 0. Some of the Navy went Mod 0. Most of RGR Rgt went Mod 1. The Mod 1 incorporated the "newish" then extended scope mounts, and went with a KAC freefloat quad-rail handguard. The goal was to lighten it up, but there's nothing really light about one of these 5.56 guns, at all. It's gonna be a 12-pounder, no matter how you slice it. But, what it gives you for that weight has never been seen before on the modern battlefield. It's exceptional in what it does, what it was designed for, and how it gets to that goal. It's the perfect small-frame weapons system. No other precision system in the US inventory has been this intensively developed, from soup to nuts, gun to ammunition, than this platform. Ever. This is what a Mod 1 is: Then came the Mk12 Mod H. Once again, this is a 5th Special Forces Group creation, and it's all that's Mk12, but with a 16" barrel instead of the "standard" 18" barrel of the other Mk12s. Here's a Mod H (Mod Holland)... They were built a few different ways - with the PRI carbon fiber handguard, shortened "Swan sleeve" and standard rings, or with the PRI handguard, with extended one-piece scope mount... the flavor was all over. Most of them retained the PRI handguard - because most of them were still 5th SFG(A) original Mk12 Mod 0 guns - just with the new, shorter 16" barrel... Sooo... What do you do to improve that platform? HOW do you make that platform better? I have a way. It's coming up.

That cop in the original video, behind the suspect, driving slow, reporting on everything - was critiqued for "not having a plan of action", while the cop that drove the car in to end this was praised. It's in the investigation reports.

The Crown Vic came out of it okay. Needs a radiator and minor body work. Those things are fuckin' TOUGH...

Worked out perfectly. Justified. Here's the story, and a pretty good picture... https://www.policemag.com/patrol/news/15334198/arizona-officer-explains-why-he-rammed-rifle-toting-suspect-with-patrol-car Another story: https://tucson.com/news/local/marana-cop-who-rammed-suspect-cleared-by-board/article_ab2bf410-2ed2-5f73-8d57-c7761adbe443.html The moment of impact.

When you hit something like that, it means you're not burning all the powder inside the barrel. More powder won't make it go faster, because it's not burning up within what you need it to burn up in - the barrel. All that excess is burning up outside the barrel, and has no more affect on the projectile at that point. Speeds don't increase with more powder, because you ran out of barrel length to burn that powder inside of, and impart energy onto that projectile. All the extra powder is just a fireball at the end of the barrel. At that point, if you want to change the speeds, increase them, you need to change to a faster burning powder. If you like the speeds, go back to the last charge that had an increase in speed, and develop that load - if it was an accuracy node, and had no pressure signs.

No, you were also pretty intricate about the trap... -
Yep, with abs, forearms and calves - you can work those 3 daily, no rest days, just because they already, daily, get so much work. If you get into an ab routine, always make sure you work lower abs first, then work upper abs. It take the uppers, to work lowers, so if you work the uppers first, you got no gas left in the tank to work lowers... That's the primary core muscle group, and the basis of your stability.

I weaned her off Bud Light years ago. Got her right. No, this was just crazy shiit... The Vag was real, ... But, I'd bet Dylan Mulvaney is more sane than her...

I think both you cocksuckers just tricked me into "the Rule" just by talking shiit - and somehow got me to buy one for someone else. You both SUCK... but one of these will be headed to Dirk after my next paycheck... You can bet your asses on that one... -

I was literally just looking at how cheap that upper was - and I was thinking about the coyotes in your yard -literally, at your back door, now. I know Dusty feeds those things - but eventually, you'll need to get rid of them. Especially, with the size of that Chicken Palace, that you've built. That thing is the Trump-Chicken-Mahal... I think if you don't want one of these, for whatever reason - I'll just buy one for you. It's just an upper. I can send you this thing in the mail, brother. I'm just sayin'... -
Marana PD, Az - these guys are my heroes... Especially Leeroy.

You need to drag your ass South sometime, and shoot with us...

My praise on the speed of "nailing it together" might have been a little early. Seems he likes to challenge people on loading ammunition for gas guns, and criticizing people for loads. I might be completely wrong on this, but we're gonna find out. OP, do NOT tell me that you think your M14 builds are "Gas Guns", in the modern term of that definition - even though your Op-Rod M14 is gas operated. Don't compare your loads, to any other AR-based Gas Gun load. You have to load LIGHTER, or you'll bend your Op Rod.

This was probably your comment, but you fucked the quote all up... Tell me if I'm wrong... WHATTA HOBBY!!!
-
You only quoted what he stated, but you didn't reply. I'd like to know your reply. Don't know what powder you're using, but I measure down to the 10th for some loads, and the digital scale does it well, and the chrono numbers support the decision, with single-digit SDs, when I find the right load. No, he probably means 0.3 grain charges on ladders, and that's probably for larger calibers. I do the same thing. On smaller calibers, I run 0.2 grains until I find a node, during load development. Please explain why your half grain charge load development is superior. I'd like to hear your story, instead of seeing you critique other people for what they do. Like I said before, the only thing I half-grain is .338 Lapua Magnum, and my .300 Win Mag - and that was just to start, and only because of the case capacity - 70 on the Win Mag and 90 on the .338 Lapua, for those. You seem to think half grains are perfectly fine for the 30-06 going through an M14, so I'd like to hear about it. Tell me about bent op rods, too.

^^^ I should have known that. The pill cabinet and the amount of meds was mind-blowing. Filled a cabinet UNDERNEATH the bathroom sink. Orange prescription bottles, just STACKED. For real. Should have been a sign, but I don't know what the damn drugs are. All I heard was "heart this, blood pressure this..." Fuckin' not. When I looked them all up, they all tie into mood shiit. Should'a known...

I haven't read that thing, but I had my own Hundred Pushups thing that I've always done. 100. Do your first set of PERFECT, NO BOLLSHIIT pushups, to failure. Let's say you get to 45 of them. Evenly spaced, no rest, you don't stop, you keep the exact same cadence the whole time, to failure. Call it 45. You have 55 left to go, so you can only rest 55 second, and start your next set. Let's say you get 30 more prefect pushups, same cadence... 45+30 = 75. You have 25 to go, so you get a 25 second rest before you start your next set... Do that until you make your hundred. You'll find that you're getting more your first set - which equals less rest time before you start the next set. You'll be a stud in no time, for pushups at least.
