DPMS G2 Buffer

Hey guys - 1st visit and post to the forum. I have  lot experience with the AR15 but this is my 1st venture into the AR10.

I bought a G2 Hunter. It shoots great but feels like it might benift from a heavier buffer. Which buffers fit this rifle and what's the standard weight?

The G2 uses the same buffers as the LR308 G1. If you want a heavier buffer you'll need the AR10R-XH.

If you bought a G2 Hunter, then that is not the Armalite AR-10.

 

Thought I'd add that right now, and limit the confusion.  Those two platforms are not even the same.
