survivalshop Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 I was just about to order a Geissele gas block & as usual I hit the special filters for "made in USA , well the Geissele is not on the list & the Vlltor, which was my second choice , didn't show up also . Could these be made over seas or is it that they were just missed labeled & are made in the USA ? Shopping at Brownells of course .
blue109 Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 possible that they didn't specify that it IS us made when they sent them to brownies so the filter blocked it. id bet a paycheck vltor is made here. in fact, I drive by their building every day (Abrams manufacturing) my big surprise recently was my super cool 5.11 shoes with the big MADE IN CHINA tag in the tongue. dig a little deeper and all their crap is made in Asia. pissed me off. scratched off the gear list.

I believe you may be right about the Gas Blocks , but you never know now a days . I wanted to try the Geissele out after 98's review . I will look deeper into it , since I just ordered something that will keep me from ordering anything else this month & my Barrel from Special Ops Weaponry hasn't shipped yet , so may wait till it gets here . Maybe by then I will know more about where the GB's are made .

I have a Vltor on my 300BLK & it works just fine . I find it hard to believe the Geissele isn't made in the USA. It would surprise me if it wasn't .

Good Morning Thank you for your interest in our products and contacting us. Yes, our Gas Blocks are produced in the United States. All of our products are made in America.
