After much research, I decided to use Aero Precision M5 receiver set to build from. Here is the parts list. Aero M5 FDE Stripped Lower Receiver Aero M5E1 FDE 15" Keymod Upper Receiver Handguard Combo Vortex Viper HS-T MRAD 6-24X50 Aero Precision 30mm Ultralight Extended Scope Mount AimSurplus 308 NiB BCG Geissele B-G2S-E Trigger (Brownells) VLTOR A5 Buffer Tube Armalite AR-10 Carbine Buffer Spring Armalite AR-10 Carbine Buffer, Heavy Mega 18" 308 Win Barrel Spikes Tactical Mid-Length Melonite Gas Tube Ergo Tactical Deluxe FDE Grip VLTOR VC-301 Flash Suppressor/Compensator BCM 308 GunFighter Charging Handle, Medium Magpul STR Mil-Spec Buttstock, FDE SLR Rifleworks Sentry 7 Clamp-On Gas Block Had some extraction issues until I got the gas block setting dialed in, but with match grade Black Hills 168 SMK ammo, it easily holds Mega's 1 MOA gaurantee. I bought all those parts in a Sunday night, on a whim - after the Sandy Hook shooting on the Friday before. Monday morning, i had all my shipping confirmations. By noon that Monday, $hit was out of stock everywhere. Everything. Everywhere. That's my lucky rifle.
