First 308AR build - Aero M5

I'm a new poster and long time lurker.  I decided to build my first 308AR.  After much research, I decided to use Aero Precision M5 receiver set to build from.  Here is the parts list.

Had some extraction issues until I got the gas block setting dialed in, but with match grade Black Hills 168 SMK ammo, it easily holds Mega's 1 MOA gaurantee.

Congratulations on the build. Glad to hear that it holds the MOA guarantee from Mega Arms with good ammo. Have you tried other ammo besides Black Hills?

I bought all those parts in a Sunday night, on a whim - after the Sandy Hook shooting on the Friday before.  Monday morning, i had all my shipping confirmations.  By noon that Monday, $hit was out of stock everywhere.  Everything.  Everywhere.

 

That's my lucky rifle.  Like, I almost never, ever got to build another one, the way this fucked up country was leaning.  <thumbsup>
