jackson43
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I've got a question. So I recently purchased an ergo f93 stock, and threw it onto my Sig Sauer 716. I used the spring and buffer that came with the rifle, and I'm having some trouble. When I pull the charging handle back, it doesn't come all the way back - preventing me from locking the bolt back. I think the buffer may be hitting the back of the buffer tube, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else had this problem/know how to solve it? Thanks!
blue109
Is the inside depth of the f93 tube the same as the inside depth of the factory tube?
Robocop1051
Did you change from a fixed, full length, stock to a collapsible stock?

FaRKle!
The Sig 716 uses an AR-10 pattern receiver extension (and an H2 buffer IIRC) which is ~3/4" longer than an AR-15 carbine receiver extension. The F93 only comes in AR-15 carbine length, which is why your BCG can't travel far back enough. If you want to use the F93 you'll have to convert to an LR308 carbine buffer system with LR308 carbine spring and heavybuffers.com's CAR-10 buffer. Robocop1051
And there you have it.... For the first time in your life... Your junk is too big for the hole you're slamming it into. Solution: deeper hole or shorter junk.
