I deal with both of  McMaster Carr and MSC.  get so much email from MSC it not funny, but don't want to cancel .

bad news is wrench wont go on barrel nut (yet)  I knew better than to weld without barrel nut as guide. will repair or redo tomorrow.  a challenge that I am up to.  I deserve this as I was rushing things along instead of taking my time.

photo is as it sits right now,  3/8 sq. hole not  in yet and I will need to remove 2 pins

I made a very crude FF hand guard socket ,when they first came out & when I get time I will take a photo of it

. No strap wrenches for me , this worked on a great number of rifles back twenty five years ago.

I have the new version of the FFT  and barrel nut wrench,  in the process of making a strap wrench to tighten the FFT,

.    it is crude cheap and fits  has 1/2 drive  socket welded on other side.
