lasher Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) i have 2 AR10, one a PSA upper and lower with 18" barrel. Fit and finish offended me, altho it shoots straight and has run fine. decided to build one that would please me on the fit and finish aspect. here's what i used to build it; 1. Mega Arms matched upper and lower 2. Aim NIB bolt and carrier 3. 18" PSA barrel that was laying around the place 4. FailZero trigger, hammer, disconnector 5. BCM charging handle 6. Tubb buffer spring 7. A2 stock 8. Armalite carry handle 9. Will add an ARP Vortex muzzle brake when they are in stock again. nothing fancy with optics or rails, just iron sights. plan a range trip with it this Tuesday Edited July 26, 2015 by lasher

Malig8r Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Mega sure does make some fine receiver sets... <thumbsup>
MikedaddyH Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Stainless steel barrels do it for me ! Nice.
blue109 Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) Might take me a bit to get use to the extra bit of receiver rail in front of the sight assembly, but looks good! LMT makes a A2 sight assembly without the carry handle part. Just bolts on to the rear. Might look cool on there. Edited July 26, 2015 by blue109

lasher Posted July 26, 2015 Author Report Posted July 26, 2015 that's an AR15 handle, the AR10's cover the rail,,,but for 30 dollars i'm content with it. it ain't going to the prom LOL
survivalshop Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Put a Railed free float hand guard on there & you won't notice the extra Receiver rail out front . Nice rifle , now go out & get a range report for us <thumbsup>
