Ok, I did find ONE, for $1,000 more than list, (with extra mags and ammo), that's been sitting over year and a half. I've read that dpms is moving manufacturing, but that still doesn't explain ONE 308 3g1 after months of searching. What gives?

They might be able to tell you some production numbers. it could be that they aren't being produced in the numbers that other mainstream rifles are.Other than that, all we can do is conjecture.

Are there a lot of people out there writing reviews about them? Maybe it's the best damn gun ever made and people don't even want to think about getting rid of them. If there isn't one on gunraper for twice it's going price...there isn't one for sale anywhere.
