I based my first opinion off the news stories ive heard locally. Nothing has been said about those last statistics about being linked to all those crimes, still unless they fudged paper work (which they're accusing here) how is it their fault? Also I googled them to see where they are/were, place is straight up hood, not saying a gun shop can't be in the hood but still.

If the gun store owners can be held liable for what a person does with a lawfully acquired gun , can we sue a university that educated a financial adviser who steals money from his clients?  How about the law schools that produce people who take frivolous lawsuits?  Or the hardware store that sells an axe used in a murder?  The list can go on indefinitely.  They all provide a tool that can be used illegally.

If the store fraudulently sells guns to people who shouldn't have them, then prosecute away.

ATF jumps through its ass to harass plenty of decent shops, but doesn't seem to be too upset about this one? Maybe because it's helping the agenda?

not anymore it's not its closed

Guess I should have read the whole thing lol

idk if it said in the article, I googled it to see if I'd ever been to it that's how I found it was closed. I do work in Milwaukee and I've been to a few over there. One is in an old bowling ally and the lanes are now a shooting range. Cool store, cool idea but I've heard shady things about them and the last two times I was in there I was treated pretty crappy

what i saw on tv said that the perp actually checked the box stating he was buying the gun for someone else...then changed his answer. We will never be privy to the "facts".

It will be appealed for years .

As far as checking the wrong box , happens all the time , you fill out a new form of initial the mistake , at least thats what the ATF informed me to do for customers . Of course it may have changed since I was a FFL .

I buy most of my guns off grid...but on the rare occasion I fill out a 4473  It takes me forever because I'm reading and rereading those dumb questions lol.

me too lol like I don't wanna accidently check the wrong box.

Surprise the name of the gun shop wasn't "los pistola shop" used to service a couple Mexican grocery stores down there, when I was younger it gave me the Wiley's now I go in there with the don't fuck with me mentality.

Then you'd feel downright terrified at our closest grocery store. lol

haha I'd actually rather be in the Hispanic area than up on the north side in the black hood. Atleast the Hispanics don't have armed guards in their stores lol

That's all the guards get cut eventually, so they all gave up.
