jtallen83
I'm loving my 16 inch rifle gas carbine, soft shooting and a much lighter feel than my 20 inch. I've never shot an 18 in 308 but find my carbine more maneuverable than my 18 inch 5.56 target rifle. Keep us updated on the build!

jtallen83
Everything from 130 gr. MK319 to 175 gr. 7.62 FGMM. I haven't had a chance to stretch past 100 yards with the 16 incher yet so it's hard to say what will perform the best but I've gotten 1 moa with both. jtallen83
Had it made by X-Caliber, here is the thread from the start.I went with them mainly to follow the "rule". It was a pain getting the port size sorted out but with all the guidance I received here it was a very good learning experience and a successful build. If I had to do it again, and most likely will, I'd go with the Criterion.
survivalshop
My 16" HB & my 20" HB , shoot almost the same out to 200 yards , all the range I have , the 20" is more consistent , but that's to be expected , its made for a bench , more or less . My 18" is a lighter Barrel & is still under testing & as soon as I get these two Harley's together , I will have a shoot out with all three. All three are 308 Criterion Barrels . jtallen83
I'm using a discontinued SLR brake from one of their blem sales. I don't have anything to compare it to, the rest of my rifles have plain A2 flash hiders, but I like it aside from the extra noise.Armalite has been discounting a very similar brake;https://armalite.com/shop/ar-10-threaded-recoil-check/
Rsquared
I mostly use AAC brakes and comps.http://www.advanced-armament.com/BRAKEOUT-2-51T-Compensator_p_650.html

MikedaddyH
The SLR comp work great on follow up shots. It is loud as hell and the blast is no joke ! 98 shot it about 6feet from my face and I wasn't ready , the side blast hit me with a strong concussion. Got a video of me shooting with it somewhere.
