Can't really complain about my situation. There are many with tougher conditions than mine. I was bless with a strong back and a weak mind. I made the deal with the devil for a job that payed good wages in return for going through the grinder. It is with great pride that I have been able to help build America,

My cousin Mike had also been afflicted having been wheelchair bound for most of his life. He was a couple of years older than me and died at 14.

Born in 55 the vaccine had problems and wasn't full brought out till 56. They thought public swimming pools were the cause but no one knew for sure. Still to this day a lot of unanswered questions. Then you have post-polio syndrome. We go till we can go no longer, one foot in front of the other. I am luckier than many.

Polio is a tough one. Some got hit with it in my generation, before Salk and Sabin worked their magic. My parents said I got diagnosed at 6 months, and nothing they could do. A year later they told my Mom they were wrong. Rene you gotta be one tough dude.

Just can't catch a break been in fall protection for 3 mos. all day, everyday. That's why a lot of my guys won't do industrial work. Among other reason's dirty, hot/cold, loud as fuk. Like carrying a firearm it's not suppose to be comfortable, it's suppose to be comforting. Till ya fall and you have about 5 minutes to get off the leg loops before you lose your legs. Fukkkkkk

Not tough, other have bigger issue's than mine. At least it's skeletal and not internal. I can still eat stuff that'll make a goat throw up.
