I got Ballistic Advantage barrel it said it will take a .875 gas block, measured my barrel when I got it and it measured .875 so that is correct,  then I ordered a Superlative arms adjustable clamp on gas block from brownells along with a mid length gas tube., I test fit the gas block,(slid it on) and all seemed well so I attached the gas tube to the block.  when I installed the block on the barrel and tightened it all the way it was LOOSE !!! so loose that it could roll around the barrel.  so I slid it off and measured the block with the screws tight and clamped together, it measured .922 with NO room to tighten it any more. am I missing something or did superlative arms miss package this block for brownells?  is there suppose to be a gasket included or is it suppose to clamp TIGHT to the barrel? I feel somewhat bad because I have the gas tube installed on the block and don't know if I should contact where I bought it from or should I contact Superlative arms directly, either way I need a different block and tube

That's a mis-packaged .936" gas block.  Brownell's will take care of you.

sorry no photos of it on the barrel but I can tell you that when you get the screws tightened down it would spin around the barrel , I sent back the old one, and brownells sent a new one, installed like OJ's glove before I even touched the screws, very happy and ready to take it to the range to get the gas block adj. correctly then just wait for the scope. the older I get the less patience I have. tick tock tick tock
