OregonDonor Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 So I got real lucky with a very nice nemo arms upper and lower. Very stoked. Trying to make a tack driver on a budget... hard to say those words. I have decided to go with a criterion 22" creedmoor one in eight twist barrels. I am looking at getting a nemo hand guard. The trigger I am up in the air but want a two stage. Gas block not sure about as well. Buffer tube unknow. For the buffer I am thinking a hydraulic buffer. Grip ergo, luth mba stock, and a vortex viper pst for scope, not sure of rings and or pop up sights. Bolt carrier is nemo arms. Not sure about bolt catch or mag release or Evan the safety. I will get nemos pins and set screw for upper. Let me know how you think that would work out what you would change and or fill in what you think would be best.
Sisco Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) Welcome, As you are on a budget, might think about the Geissele GS2 two stage trigger. Another thought is Larue’s trigger. Never tried that one myself but a lot of the guys on the forum speak highly of it. I have the GS2 on an AR15 and really like it. Edited December 30, 2017 by Sisco

OregonDonor Posted December 30, 2017 Author Report Posted December 30, 2017 Thanks for the reply I will look into both I dont see the problem with the ssa-e but it is hard to explain to the wife why I should spend 240 on a trigger lol. Though I have her talked into getting a proof research barrel in the future. I got a buddy that use to work there :).
jtallen83 Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 The LaRue MBT is every bit as good as the SSA and not far from the SSA-E but half the money, less if you catch the $99 sale.

Hydraulic buffers have seals that retain the hydraulic fluid. Seals, over time, will fail. There's no way around that. No seal lasts forever. When that happens, you will have a worthless buffer, whatever amount of money that expensive POS cost you, and a single-shot rifle. Don't complicate shiit with complicated shiit. My $0.02...
Robocop1051 Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Skip th hydraulic buffer... I had one... I sold it... If you want the most out of your buffer system, check out a tungsten heavy buffer and a flat wire spring... or maybe even a JP silent captured spring.
Robocop1051 Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 I also have a proof barrel... the cool factor is way beyond the usefulness.
OregonDonor Posted December 30, 2017 Author Report Posted December 30, 2017 Appreciate it guys I will look into it.
