It was a throwback model made in the mid 2000's I think. Made in Geneseo Illinois.

No but many people that want a build as close to original as they can get grab these as a base then add original stuff as they can get it. The upper is the premium item with the pegasus marked lower close behind.

Where did the A2 sight Upper come from , Armalite ?  Was the Upper Receiver altered for the A2 Sight  ?

I'm sure ArmaLite just got in the ballpark without spending a bunch on new parts, did the big stuff for the general appearance then went with what was on the shelves already.

It was a specific upper just for that model, hence the retro charging handle. They sold spares for it in their clearence section for years.
