our last track day

our last track day, some pics, our six runs… 9.61 four times in a row, 9.59 and 9.63 on the last run. the green truck ran 8.30's, the black camaro was 8.60's. that was our pit area, lots of others, including a rail car running 7.6's. all in the mts. in lebanon ny

Whats a rail car?

A rail car is a dragster chassis, usually 300 inch, and that truck was testing a new fuel system for his nitrous injected alcohol motor, mmmm I can smell it, he'll probably hit in the seven's, so unlimited or something close to that.

Fastest I've run the 1320 was 12.2 in my blown 05 Mustang.  My buddy keeps trying to get me to take his 9-second Fox body down the strip, but I haven't taken him up on it yet.

It's a big difference in feel from 12 to 9, I've gone 10.22 on a bike and 9.90 in my dads with a soft launch

Damn, I need to go look for some pics.  I love drag racing, but my type is uphill, on sand.  I'll be back in a few with a build I did (was in on, to be exact) a couple years ago.  Edge, you'll appreciate the hardware involved in building something like this...    <thumbsup>

There's so much more to it, but most wouldn't even understand.  It's way easier to build precision guns that run well, than to build something like this that runs well.  I'm just sayin'...  ;D

Hi Guys    Here's lil Red  drove her to the track slipped on some et slicks porceeded to kick every ones azz at 9.90 143...put my dr's back on put the trophy in the front seat and drove home. The 150 shot came in handy on that day!...lol  usually i just run high tens at 130

Nice, I haven't been out to the track in a year now. We would go out to help Hanna Motor Sports with their jet cars. There is nothing like standing next to a J-79 jet engine when it come to life

My father-in-law drove funny cars and the wife was drag racing at 16. This early experience explains her driving style now. I keep telling her its just a Honda and you're not on the track.....
