Man, I hate to say this to you, but the longest waits I've suffered were waiting for my stamps.  They cashed my checks anywhere from a week to a month of sending them in, but 3-4 months was always my average.

Best bet is try to forget about it, and be surprised when you get the call from your class III dealer that you can come collect your prize.

Yeah the dealer said it's been running about 4 months. They arent sure what affect having the inspectors now assigned to territories will have. Im in no hurry. I no longer try to rush time. Life is short enough.

I think the key is to always have something on order so something is always arriving to feed the need.

Well if you recall after doing th paperwork for the other suppressors I ordered an AAC M4 2000. It showed up at the dealers today. Need to head up next week and get the paperwork done.

And then "start the wait..."  I'm just sayin'.  Everyone needs to understand that anything NFA is never a quick process.

Well after much delay I met my AAC M4-2000 today. Much smaller than I had expected. I did the paperwork for the feds. Took it home and proceded to walk to the closed post office.  >:(

While at the gun shop I had to resiste very hard not buying a Colt 1911 Rail Gun as well as one of these, AAC Micro 7:

In the end I bought a brick of these instead

Well I dont check my mail often but it appears about a week ago the feds sent my applications back stating the name on the trust must exactly match the name on the application. Honestly Im not getting it as they appear the same to me. I just dont know. Will call the attorney in the morning.

Im pissed off

Man, that sucks big hairy water buffalo balls... What a load of BS!

The only thing I can see is the trust name includes "Also knows as" an abreviation for my trust name

example "Drews cool trust"also know as "DCT". My applications do not include the "also known as" verbage

Great.  >:(  They're gonna kick mine back for sure.  I named my trust the same...  well, so it would match my wallet.  <dontknow>

Ya'll gotta stop talking like that, you're making me wonder if the BATFE won't take exception to the "Matt Cross Is Verifying That You Are Really Proofreading This Form Trust aka 'MCIVTYARPTF'" (pronounced EM-SIV-TEE-ARP-TIFF) trust that I so painstakingly had drawn up. Stupid bureaucrats....  :(

Well my attorney is arguing with the BATFE.  He has told me to do as they request as to not risk my applications. He is arguing on principle for the applications that follow. The investigator is going to her superiors for guidance.
