I don't shoot much paper. Just the specks in the berm. I like that more, reactive targets on the cheap.

22 Mag gets the barrel warm, very nicely.

 

The M&P  15-22 I was testing for a friend was probably warmer, but doesn't have the  fun factor of my Henry.....

I do this when sighting in a new scope. gives me a bigger dispay of splash over shot up plywood with a bunch of holes.

I used to kinda do that, but lately I need something big and orange to even see,lol

I am rapidly following you, my eyes took a schitt right after my concussion last december.....not very happy with near AND far sighted eyes in the same head.

Done That!

Most enjoyable is the clay pigeons on the 100 yard berm with the rimfires and irons.

Usually too lazy to pick up shotgun hulls and carry them out there.....

Tonight was the rocks/pebbles in the rimfire berm. 25~30 yards I think on that one.
