Aero308 Posted June 28, 2020 Report Posted June 28, 2020 I need help deciding what scope mount to go with my Aero M5 build. I have a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP MRAD. I’m considering Aero Ultralight 30mm SPR or maybe the Extended version not sure which would be best. I’ve heard LaRue has a nice one too but wanted to get some suggestions first. Thanks in advance!
sketch Posted June 28, 2020 Report Posted June 28, 2020 same as above but i hit the 112 for different range. I haven't had any range time on it, but that scope is legit!
jtallen83 Posted June 28, 2020 Report Posted June 28, 2020 If quick release isn't needed take a look at AADMOUNT. Rock solid stuff, lots of features, not quick release but when using a torque driver I get an excellent return to zero when taking it off and on. http://shop.aadmount.com/AR-Mounts_c2.htm
Magwa Posted June 29, 2020 Report Posted June 29, 2020 (edited) Larue... hands down... I used the LaRue Tactical OBR QD Scope Mount, LT111 on my Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 CM and it flat out rocks.. Edited June 29, 2020 by Magwa
Radioactive Posted June 29, 2020 Report Posted June 29, 2020 He already ordered one based on his wtb post.
Aero308 Posted June 29, 2020 Author Report Posted June 29, 2020 Thanks for the suggestions! My wallet said no to LaRue for now so I went with the Aero SPR for the time being. I will eventually upgrade to LaRue’s seems that’s what you guys on here suggested the most and upon reading on it I can see why 🙂 thanks for the help!

You could have taken $60 off the price of that LaRue if you order it with the VFZ mounts - I'll never take mine off, and don't need the QD levers, so all my LaRue LT-158s cost me $160. I'm just sayin'...
