Hey guys, Building several AR15's gave me the bad idea that an AR10 would be simple. The thing worked up to the third shot. Here a round would not strip off and go into battery. Thinking it was over gassed I put an adjustable gas block on it. This was actually kind of fun to watch and see how more gas was helping the gun cycle. Then it would pick up a round and just softly dimple the primer. Now I have to use the charging handle as the gun won't cycle or fire. 

 

When it picked up a second or third round I never noticed if it was locking back. Because it jammed prior to an empty mag.

This. I am betting it’s the recoil system. Please give detailed measurements as well as your gas port measurement

Sorry about delay. I took my black rain lower and pulled a few rounds of .308 from different company's . The black rain set off the primers. So I'm thinking trigger spring? It's a geisselle 2 stage

This doesn't have anything to do with an Armalite AR-10, in the least, and shouldn't even be in this section.

Mods, please move this to the Builders section, or something comparable.
