CMMG MK3 Gas Key Failure

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share with you all an issue I’m having with my CMMG MK3. I’ve shot around 500 rounds through it. Currently, my rifle is not cycling properly after firing my first shot. Second shot won’t fire. At first I though it was a hung fire, but kept happening. I came home and took it apart and found out that the gas key was loose. Both screws came loose. Also, they were not staked. There’s also pitting/scoring on top of the gas key as well as on the gas tube.

Just get a Toolcraft BCG brother. Keep the other one for paperweight. Just my 2 mags

Just change out the BCG and drive on. Toolcraft makes good ones.
