I found a 15.5” AR-10 gas tube on Wilson Combat’s site and ordered it.

It's legit - I still have a spare from them in the packaging.  It's real - you did well.  I honestly forgot about them, as a solution, because they just recently started doing that.

Update: installed Primary Arms 5.4oz Buffer weight, Springco Orange Spring and Wilson Combat’s 15.5” AR10 gas tube. Gun runs flawlessly on 50 gr Hornady Superformances, 4100 fps.
I will say gas key on BCG and gas tube port are a “snug fit” takes more force than usual to get the BCG out of the upper when taking apart but it honestly doesnt concern me as it doesnt feel like its enough resistance to hinder performance.
My last question for you fine gentleman would be, down the road when i go experimenting with lighter bullets and more fps, if i run into a gas problem and need to drill out the gas port on the barrel, with this build, what size gas port is recommended?

thanks again to everyone who stuck this out with me.

What size is the gas port right now?  It's obviously working, so don't mess with it.

Down the road, you won't have to change the gas port diameter for a load - if you go to even lighter bullets, the charge weight is different, and it doesn't matter anyway, since you now have a balanced gas system and recoil system.  Getting those two working together is what gives you the heart of your reliability.  Loads can change now, you can even shoot heavies - won't matter.  The two systems are working together, as designed.

What magazine is working for you? And how many do you load?

Kind of an older topic but I just grabbed one of these uppers on sale for $249 including BCG and CH. Swapped in the Armalite gas tube. Running Sprinco Orange and 5.4oz buffer. Gas port measures .08”. Using PA10 gen II PSA lower. Runs and locks back with a spare Toolcraft BCG I have but will not lock back with the BCA BCG, will run tho. Dunked the BCG in Mobile one 0-20. So far have fired 20 rounds of a 40 pack of 50 grain rem umc HP ammo I snagged at mao mart. Working on getting mounts around for Vortex crossfire II 6x18x45.

The brown truck dropped off 100 new 22-250 cases and some 55 grain soft point with cannalure today. Have some CFE223 so intending to load some of that up and try that before thinking about drilling gas port. Just using a garden variety PMAG for initial testing but a SD Rifles 22-250 mag showed up today too.

The buffer tube is 7” deep. Same lower I started into AR308 stuff in this thread here.

I also have this 3.6oz buffer NIW and thought about giving it a try with the BCA BCG. The BCA BCG and my Toolcraft BCG that runs and locks back on empty both weigh the same.

Damn, I miss that company.  I wish DSG was still around.  That's a great buffer, Bill.  Stainless body, and filled with 2 steel weights.  You can change those weights out for tungsten weights, and make that buffer 5+ ounces, easy peasy.  It's a roll-pin punch away.

I've only used one of those buffer bodies, as a test, in my first .260 Rem gun, but I've recommended it many times - when DSG was around.  I ran it just to prove the short recoil system.  2 tungstens in it made it 5.15oz, and it functions that gun just fine.

I think I have one that I tungstened up, but thinking to try it in this case as is and see if bolt locks back with the BCA BCG, run some rounds that way to let it break in a bit.
